CMOS battery replacement

I've been having freezing issues right on the MB splash screen. I reset the CMOS and that seems to have fixed it, at least temporarily.

In doing so, I saw that the CMOS battery (2032) seems to be in a small black plastic casing, which is stuck to the area where the onboard wifi connector is. I reset the CMOS by unplugging the red/white cable from the MB.

However, I'm concerned that maybe the actual battery is going bad. I don't see how to remove it/open the plastic mount to replace it. I couldn't find a Youtube covering this particular battery replacement like I did for the reset. Can someone explain how to do this and/or maybe a video? Thanks.

The MB is about two/three years old and I can't find the model number.

Weird start up issue

My computer started doing this a couple weeks ago. When I power it up, I get a motherboard logo screen with the options like DEL, F2, etc. However, even though my keyboard is powered up, the keys don't function. I tried plugging it into another USB port and different keyboard, same issue. It's frozen and requires a hard power cycle (sometimes multiple) to get into Windows. Could it be the CMOS battery? Any ideas?

My Mia passed away almost 1 1/2 years ago and I'm still grieving. She was my heart dog, such a great buddy and I miss her so. I didn't think I'd get another dog, but I've found myself lately looking at rescues (Mia was a rescue too). But I sometimes feel funny about it, like I'm trying to replace/replicate her. I know I can't, it just feels that way sometimes.

For those of you who have had a similar situation, did getting another dog help? I'm torn... I know I miss my Mia terribly and I think I miss having a dog around. Do you ever wish you hadn't adopted again?

I know we are all different in how we deal with this, just wondering how others have fared.
