CMOS battery replacement
I've been having freezing issues right on the MB splash screen. I reset the CMOS and that seems to have fixed it, at least temporarily.
In doing so, I saw that the CMOS battery (2032) seems to be in a small black plastic casing, which is stuck to the area where the onboard wifi connector is. I reset the CMOS by unplugging the red/white cable from the MB.
However, I'm concerned that maybe the actual battery is going bad. I don't see how to remove it/open the plastic mount to replace it. I couldn't find a Youtube covering this particular battery replacement like I did for the reset. Can someone explain how to do this and/or maybe a video? Thanks.
The MB is about two/three years old and I can't find the model number.
