I give up, is it supposed to be this hard?

I'm on day 45, and I just quit. I have no idea how to get to room 46, and I don't even know where to start with achieving it. I feel like I'm not making any progress; I feel like I only solve one puzzle and only get one upgrade disc every dozen runs. Is it supposed to be this difficult? Am I just slow?

Is the game meant to be this slow?

After playing it for like ten hours, I have only gotten two permanent additions and 4 upgrade discs (one of which I lost btw). So, am I missing something like a puzzle(s) I need to complete outside of the standard gameplay loop, or is it really just that slow of a game?

Second WWW: Doc Holliday vs. The saint of killers

Hi y'all, so I've created a bracket to see who the most powerful gunfighter is. All fights (just to be clear, they are fighting one another; it's not to see who the better marksmen are) will occur in a 10km by 10km arena with various obstacles and small buildings in it; all characters will have ammunition equivalent to that which they have in their respective media.
