My wife and I have spent over a year developing our dream cooking game FIRSTPLATE, essentially plateup! but first person

https://reddit.com/link/1u8fil8/video/mm9zp8mpgv7h1/player

I'm the developer behind Firstplate, a first=person chaotic cooking game. The demo is playable right now, where you compete on a global leaderboard currently seeing who can keep there restaurant running to longest.

Full game will feature career mode where it'll be more casual and a versus red vs blue team hells kitchen style.

I would love to hear any feedback! or suggestions!

You can also wishlist on Steam!

Steam Key Giveaway & Leaderboard Challenge

To keep things fair for the start of Next Fest, we have just done a leaderboard wipe so everyone can start fresh.

To encourage both new and returning players, we're giving away Steam keys to the full game!

The Challenge:
If you can hold a top 3 spot on the leaderboard for any group size by the end of Next Fest (June 22nd at 10 AM Pacific), everyone in that run will win a key to the full game.

The Raffle:
We are also hosting a raffle to give away another 5 keys, so invite your friends to download and try the demo!

Disclaimer: Limit 1 key per person. If you win on multiple leaderboards or win both a leaderboard spot and the raffle, you will still only receive 1 key. Keys will be distributed after the event, but the game will remain locked/unplayable in your library until the official full release.

firstperson co-op restaurant game called FirstPlate where you design the layout and survive the dinner rush with friends

Hey everyone,

We just released a playable demo for FirstPlate, our co-op restaurant management game, and we decided to open up the Endless Mode for people to try out with their friends.

It supports up to 4 players online via Steam and is all about seeing how long you can survive as the difficulty scales up.

Here is how the endless loop works in the demo:

  • Build your kitchen: Between rounds, you work together to place appliances, optimize counter layouts, and design the dining area.
  • Card drafting and voting: At the end of each day, players vote on draft cards to choose new menu items, upgrades, or escalations that change how the kitchen runs.
  • Survive the rush: Once the doors open, coordinate to prep, cook, plate, and serve customers.
  • Manage strikes: If you are too slow or fail orders, you get strikes. Too many strikes, and it is game over.

We are looking for groups of friends to test out the multiplayer sync and see how many days you can survive. If you want to grab the demo, check it out on Steam.
