If only the U.S. would recognize and count these as official tribes. Appearently we’re just tribal people ☠️

Here is my mom we don’t have a tribe but we do have indigenous blood, my cousin is in a tribe though but she lives in a reservation (Comarca) in Panama high up in the mountains that I only go once a blue moon due to distance, my cousins lives in these style like homes in Panama Chiriqui mountains.

So proud of my Afro-Indigenous/Afro-Latina mom and my beautiful mixed heritage! I always been told growing up “You look Asian, you got Asian eyes.” Now I know why, it’s cause of my Indian features from my Afro-Indio mother 😭 we’re also getting a dna test kit soon for ancestry.com to see how much indigenous blood we have, I already know we’re indigenous to this land and don’t need a colonial tool to prove it, but doing it anyways lol.

Finding My Tribe! The Ngabe Bugle

Hi everybody! I am a 25 yr old American mixed of African and Native American Indian (Central Native American Indian) descent. I have learning disabilities and can be a little slow but I truly think my mom’s side has been in a tribe called the Ngabe Bugle and I just didn’t realize it!

I know where I been to in Panama was a Comarca (Reservation) it was super high in the mountains, had literal teepee style like thatched-roof homes called bohios (or nidus) These communities are largely located within the semi-autonomous indigenous to the Americas known as the Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca (Reservation) This vast, 2,500-square-mile region spans the mountainous terrain bordering the Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, and Veraguas provinces
Every time I try to tell her we’re part of the Ngabe she automatically goes, “We’re indigenous but the U.S. government rejected us, we’re not part of the Ngabe.” Even tho she’ll say otherwise: she’s also been tainted by the Jehovahs witnesses and they love to strip indigenous peoples identity

So technically I’ve visited reservations (comarcas) in Panama due to my Indian and Indigenous family in Panama! For the first time I don’t feel alone!

So I learnt that my cousins who live super high in the Chiriqui mountains are part of the Ngabe-Bugle tribe???

I remember driving up to this super super high mountains like reaching the cloud level high, and saw a village with interesting looking houses, they weren’t really homes like ours it looked a lot like these two high in the mountains of Panama. My Indian mom never wants to talk about it cause she has been exposed to the Jehovah’s Witnesses religion ever since she came to the United States, she is 52 yrs old and tends to move back to Panama soon and so I will join her as well to join my ancestral home.

BTW these aren’t our houses just an example of what I remember seeing. Wish I took videos 😭

Dolly with braces

I know for a fact I watched this movie growing up when I was younger, I am 25 now and I swear I could remember Dolly having braces: if our realities are truly emerging with other close by realities with subtle changes are we personally crossing THAT reality or are things from THAT reality changing into OUR reality? And can people from THAT reality see our changes into theirs? Don’t mind me I just ripped my pen earlier and just faded thoughts 😭 like how do we navigate when realities constantly merge with one another with subtle little changes? Since we don’t have the dolly with braces it possible that other universe or “multiverse” has OUR dolly and this isn’t even ours??

Hi everybody I am 25 yrs old and of so called “Afro Panamanian American so called mezitos/indios” and just learned we apparently have about 51% Native American ancestry 😳

I was wondering if anybody can see my Native American features I been trying to get in touch with my ancient Native American side and been studying ancient Native American culture from Canada to north to the isthmus of Panama (Which where my Afro-indigenous) mother is from, can I reclaim my Native American lost roots as a so called Hispanic/Latino (Panamanian/ Afro-Mezitos American)?

I been identifying myself as Afro Indigenous American recently I will never call myself a Hispanic/Latino again! That was a European colonial white washed term to erase my people’s African and indigenous ancestry! Always had low self esteem growing up but now I am 25 and learning my African and Native American roots and what both my ancestors had to go through.

I am 25 yrs old male and feel like I should I just give it up and end it already. I feel tired of life, and it feels like it’s moving faster as I am aging, I don’t deserve to live, I don’t even deserve my family, and I for sure don’t deserve life. Maybe the world would’ve better if I wasn’t even here, I contribute this society with nothing of use, I am worthless, I am basically a loser as what you would call, my head feels lowkey dizzy rn, and I feel like I just wanna call it quits, butsomething pulls me to just go through another day.
