how should i describe this type of pain

i am not asking for medical advice. what i need help with is wording. i have always had really persistent joint pain (which people don't take seriously) that feels like the equivalent of a headache or a toothache. thats the only way i can describe it. next time i go to the doctors, can i say just that? would they understand? how else can that be put into more technical terms... im really tired of not being taken seriously:(

Need help with new phone!

I'm buying my first NEW phone (not refurbished, straight from apple) and I will also be moving to a different phone plan. Its my first "big adult upgraded" as i will be paying for it myself.

My question is would it make more sense to purchase the plan (i'm going with visible by verizon) and set that up on my current phone and then move it to my new one, or should i set that all up on my new one when it comes in the mail? I want to keep my same phone number, thats the only thing.

Would going from a physical sim card to esim make this transition weird?

How to wear hair to sleep with a fresh piercing?

I just got my ear pierced (mid helix) and I need to know (urgently) what some good ways to do my hair for bed are. I usually wear a bonnet, should i just tie it lower so my piercing isnt touching it? two braids? a bun?

I have long, THICK, wavy hair thats prone to tangling and I dont want my piercing to be affected.

Should I get a smaller piece of jewelry?

I've had my eyebrow piercing for roughly 4.5 months now and I feel as if my bar might be a little long. I feel as if its healing good so far, but then again I'm new to piercings so I could be wrong with that statement... I do notice however that it sometimes looks like the piercing is a little long which I think irritates it. I'm scared it might snag on things or cause problems. What do you guys think? Is this significant enough to cause problems?
