Instagram-ification if Gym made me quit it

I haœⁿve been gymming for the past 2 years, and used to be a sportsperson before that. Since work, family etc started, sports seemed impossible so I joined the gym for fitness.

It was okay in the beginning and I used to enjoy it. I used to go 3-4 times a week max for an hour because work is demanding and I have to take care of some household chores too such as cooking.

Somehow this year things changed.

My gym (a big brand) reopened in a bigger space, and thus more people started pouring in. I am anyhow someone who is not great with fashion, but now even the gym people come fully dressed with a full face of makeup. I go in very simple attire, and quite often felt like I was treated as a misfit (might be in my head too). But I also feel judged for simply coming, exercising and leaving without getting involved in talks/gossip sessions etc. I exercised for an hour max and used to leave because I had to rush for home and then the office. Trainers and others quite often commented 'bss? Aur thoda time lgaya kro, bhaagna kyu? type things.

Also, the majority of people share their exercises on Instagram etc, but I don't. So I felt surrounded by cameras.

I started feeling very judged and unwelcomed, sadly. Now it can all be in my head, agreed, but that is how I felt. So, I quit the gym and resorted to cycling on weekends.

TL;DR: Gym culture felt overwhelming with fancy clothes, make-up faces, and Instagram-addicted workouts.

Help a brother out!

I am moving to Ireland on a CSEP (Critical skills visa) and my plan is to get my Stamp 4 after being there for 2 years.

Stamp 4 can be after 2 years and then when I get my Stamp 4, I plan to bring my wife over on a dependent visa.

Now our boss says that my current visa application will be rejected on the basis of my plans to bring my wife over after 2 years, and also says that in 2 years, rules will be changed re immigration wherein the automatic Stamp 4 eligibility will not be allowed and bringing a dependent will also not be allowed

Question: is it true that me being married plays against me in CSEP application?

Please be kind in suggestions

Hi everyone,

I am 31F and I have a very demanding job. I go to the gym 2-3 days a week only simply because on some days I am too tired. For example, today morning I skipped gym because I was too tired from yesterday's work (I also cook by myself for me and my partner). I need help in understanding if that is a bad thing because people on this sub have often been very "gym has to be regular" kind of people.

I am also not someone who diets a lot, but I just eat in proportion and usually at home. Even if I eat out, it's usually South Indian food without aloo etc.

Please be kind while suggesting, because I understand your passion for fitness, but I do it just to stay fit, it's not my passion.

Ameeri bolti hai (inframe: Aary Vlogs, Yogita)

His house help made the tea, 3 helpers helped this couple clean the room. But he counts it as hard work done to impress his mother -_-
