Molana Tariq Jameel Sb doing Yoga…
I recently saw a viral video of Maulana Tariq Jameel doing yoga, and honestly, I was surprised by the amount of criticism it received. People are saying things like, “Maulana sahib, at this age, why are you doing this?” and making fun of him. I think we need to have a more sensible discussion about this.
First of all, Maulana Tariq Jameel is a human being and an elderly man. If, at his age, he is showing that he still has flexibility, takes care of his body, and stays physically active, why is that something to mock? If a Bollywood celebrity like Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan posted a workout video showing their fitness and flexibility at an older age, people would probably be praising them and saying, “Look at them, still so fit at this age!” So why should the reaction be completely different when it is a religious figure?
Personally, I actually find the idea quite inspiring. Staying physically active and taking care of your health shouldn’t have an age limit, and there is nothing inherently wrong with an elderly person doing yoga or exercising.
However, I do think there is another important issue here: the way the video was recorded and published.
There appeared to be certain things in the video that probably should have been blurred or removed before it was made public. From what I can tell, this may not necessarily be Maulana Tariq Jameel’s fault. The person recording and managing content for someone this prominent has a responsibility to understand what should and shouldn’t be published.
This is a bigger problem with social media today. People around public figures record everything because they think “everything is content.” But it isn’t. When you’re working with someone who is a major public and religious figure, there should be several levels of filtering before anything goes online: What is appropriate? What could be misunderstood? What needs to be edited or blurred? What should simply never be published?
So, in my opinion, the criticism should be directed at the content management and publishing process, not at Maulana Tariq Jameel simply for exercising.
Maybe I’m missing something, but I personally don’t see anything wrong with an elderly man trying to stay fit and flexible. In fact, I think that part of the video is quite inspirational.
What do you think? Is the criticism justified, or are people simply overreacting because of who he is?

Why Are Children More Profitable on the Streets Than in School?
I live in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and for nearly two years I kept seeing the same 3–4 girls, around 9–13 years old, begging in our society. I usually gave them Rs. 50–100, but one day I asked where they lived, drove them home, and offered their mother to pay for everything school admission, uniforms, books, and monthly fees if she would let them study. Her reply stunned me: she said the girls earn around Rs. 800–900 each per day (about Rs. 4,500 daily in total) and asked, “Can you replace that income? What benefit do I get from sending them to school?” That conversation completely changed my perspective. If children are more valuable on the streets than in classrooms, we have a serious societal problem. Beyond the lost education, these young girls are exposed to daily risks of exploitation and abuse. If something terrible happens to them tomorrow, who will be held accountable?
The violence in Azad Kashmir needs our attention. Our people deserve peace, justice, and dignity. We need more voices. We need more awareness. We need the world to listen.

My thoughts on ongoing protest in AJK
No job, rank, or uniform is greater than humanity. If I am ever ordered to knowingly fire upon innocent and unarmed people, I would rather walk away from that job than obey such an order.
Livelihood is not tied to a single profession. I would rather earn an honest living pushing a small cart with dignity than accept a position that demands the blood of the innocent.
I firmly believe that obedience is only worthy when it stands with truth, justice, and humanity. No order, no authority, and no personal interest can ever outweigh the sanctity of an innocent human life.
The Fall has begun
Yesterday, it was dancing girls who performed to please kings. Today, it is conscience that dances to please those in power. When honor, dignity, and culture are reduced to mere spectacle, decline is no longer knocking at the door it has already entered the house. The greatest tragedy of a nation is not poverty or weakness, but the moment it begins The Fall Has Begun
Jantar Mantar Protest
To the privileged, disconnected liberals marching for causes across borders: do you even know what’s happening in your own country?
Ten-year-old girls are being raped. The powerful shield the perpetrators. Those who speak are silenced or disappear. More than 2,000 people are missing.
Kashmir has endured weeks of suffering with shortages of medicine and essential supplies. Balochistan bleeds while militants tighten their grip. Sindh’s pain is ignored. KP is denied its rights because politics matters more than its people.
Yet you’re eager to perform solidarity for the world while remaining silent at home.
Solidarity isn’t a fashion statement. It’s not selective outrage. If you cannot speak the truth about the suffering of your own people, your activism is nothing more than performance loud, convenient, and hollow.
Clean your own house before preaching to the world.
