I just came upon a lyric I printed on a photo postcard for the Kirstyfest (Kirsty MacColl get-together) where we celebrated what would have been her 50th (2009). The line is so wonderfully British:

“Some lives read like a postcard and some lives read like a book. I’ll be happy if mine doesn’t read like a joke from an old Christmas cracker.”

Aside from that sentiment, what other lyrics can you think of that could only be written/sung by a Brit?

Any idea why these reapers weren’t moving? I was replaying the garlic adventure and using standard weapons, no stage options selected and no arcanas.

After this video I stepped into one of them and ofc insta-died.

Edit: question answered. I had Curse down to -100 which stops movement.

Update: Solved! I went through each listed ‘sub’ weapon and evolved them, then found coat of arms (and the other ‘collection’ weapons) available. Selected them in-game when they came up upon levelling and got the final Ode to Castlevania achievement at last! Thank you to everyone who posted ❤️

I’ve looked again and again and I can’t see what else I need to do to unlock Cost of Arms? Should it appear in my collection when unlocked?

I may have looked so many times that I can’t see the forest for the trees and it’s driving me mad 😅. Could someone please look over my collection and tell me what missing?

Anyone else have this problem when trying to sell weapons? Playing on iOS.

I have no idea how this happened but I seem to be stuck here. Annoying as I was going for the >!Big Fuzz achievement!<.

Pretty sure it’s unsalvageable but to save me another 20 mins of my life, any ideas to get my char outta there?

I’ve tried to search the wiki and this sub using terms like ‘map’ ‘stage’ ‘selection’ and so forth but frustratingly can’t find what I know is going to be a simple answer!

What is this pane telling me? What does it mean when a stage is checked? I can only see it represents something per character.

If it at least gives you a laugh, these are my thoughts so far: the stage they’re unlocked - no. Stages in which they can be played (no, all can play all stages). Stages completed (but what constitutes completed, especially as I select Endless most of the time).

Following an earlier post of mine: ( https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeMeSmile/s/X5t3INmNG5 ), I thought it’d be nice to leave out some coloured chalks in a spontaneous desire to give a bit of fun to anyone passing by. I live right by a very popular footpath for both locals and tourists.

I’ve had to pop out for a bit and naïvely smiled to myself wondering what fun this might result in - especially from any little ones passing by.

And then… well. My more realistic and cynical adult mind suddenly realised a tad later that I could have enabled those of a more impish nature to leave their … somewhat unwanted marks.

Results may well prove interesting as a litmus test of sorts. But now I can’t deny I’m thinking this wasn’t the brightest of ideas.

What do you guys think I’ll come back to later today? I’m just thankful that it’ll only take a strong blast from the hose and perhaps a broom to erase any rascally messages or - god forbid - pictures.

Covered up my niece’s name. (ETA, she’s 3 and two-thirds.).

(ETA 2: I am pitifully devoid of artistic (drawing) talent. It might give you all a chuckle to know I had to plan it and practise drawing it all on a notepad beforehand with help from OOP’s artwork and googling for templates! I think I ended up throwing away around a dozen pages because I couldn’t even muster up the simple cartoon dinosaur without trying over and over again 😅. This better stick in her core memory or dammit, I’ll be showing her the pictures over and over just to be sure she can say what an amazing uncle I am whenever comes the time for her to deliver my eulogy 😂.)
