Am I screwed? Failed 7 prints so far and all exposures look the same.

Printer: Anycubic photon mono 4 ultra

So quick context. I got the printer two weeks ago. Printed around 8 prints the first few days and everything was great. One day, i came back and noticed all the resin has leaked, and it turned out the film broke for some reason. Now to get a replacement film, the only option compatible with my printer (same size, framed film) took two weeks to arrive. So instead, i got a larger fep film, separated the frames, and cropped the new fep film and screwed it to the frame. I then ran a test print. The first few kept failing partially (like one side would print and the other wouldnt), so i thought it was a leveling issue. Kept repeatedly releveling after every failed print. I also switched the resin and tried to rule out any factors causing the failures. I eventually caved and ordered the compatible film (it was acf). Now it is mounted, and i ensured the sides were correct. Now, every time i print, i get a large rectangular base of semi-cured resin at the bottom.

I finally decided to check the exposure and i noticed that all options look the same (as shown in video). This didnt happen before, so now im worried i damaged the LCD. I hope its just the protective cover issue instead, but im not sure so i decided to post here and ask for advice.

Any way I can replace the film? The frame isnt coming off.

Printer: Anycubic Photon Mono 4 Ultra

I got my first resin printer a few days ago, and I really loved the quality of the prints so far. Unfortunately, i think i printed something the wrong way (maybe it was not tilted enough) and i made a hole through the film as shown on the top left. Im now trying to replace the film, but the frame is not coming off. I found some film on amazon but almost all options come without frames, and the only option that comes with frames arrives in two weeks. Is there a way i can split the frames and replace the film?

Is there a way to remove mini supports in hard-to-reach areas?

I’m new to resin printing. I found a pretty good 3D render online that I put into lychee. After tilting and resizing the model, i used the auto support feature, but it ended up adding supports in very tiny places. Its a bit tedious to go through all the supports and remove the ones i think are unnecessary, so I was wondering if there was a way to do this automatically? Maybe a setting in lychee?

First-time arXiv submission anxiety. Is this normal?

Hello! I’m an undergraduate, and over the past few weeks I independently pursued an AI research idea that turned into a complete paper. I designed and ran the experiments myself but also used AI as a research assistant (which I explicitly disclose in the manuscript), and now I’m considering posting it to arXiv. To be clear tho, its not like a new algorithm or paradigm, just a new perspective on an existing concept.

I’ve never posted to arXiv before, so I’m honestly nervous. I’m especially worried about a few things:
1- Whether researchers look negatively on AI-assisted research even with explicit disclosure.

2- Reaching out to a professor for an arXiv endorsement as someone with no publication history. I honestly dont personally know professors in this specific field within my university, so I will likely need an endorsement from a professor I havent met before.

I’m intentionally not discussing the paper itself because I’d like to stay anonymous until I decide whether to post it.
For people who’ve gone through this process, what would you have wanted to know before your first arXiv submission? And is there anything I should do before i post it? I even made my code reproducible (but the repo is still private) just to ensure completeness.

What is the cheapest way to get a package shipped from the US?

Im looking to buy something from a small business in the US. They only deliver domestically unfortunately, so I am looking for forwarding services. The package is sold for $135 on their website, but on amazon it is listed as around $315 to be delivered to the UAE. I looked into shop and ship by aramex, but since the package is roughly 31 lbs, the shipping estimate is 760 aed (or around $207), which is more expensive than amazon.

Does anyone know of cheaper services? I don’t want to pay more on shipping than the package itself.
