First Auto Blueberry Cupcake

F2 autopheno of Blueberry cupcake x Blackberry auto.

Its a little pollinated with a F1 cut to increase auto ratio in upcoming hunts. Also hunting F2 auto.

This one is really cupcake leaning, but its insanely candy, as its F1 mother.

Just a quick post sharing my excitement.

Dantes Inferno MHD cut

Chopped down day 63 of 12/12.

Ridiculous frost. Terps might develope during curing. By now not bad not good. Floral tones,

I heard before but i wanted to see this cut for myself because of its frost. Did not disappoint.

Pretty easy plant, very productive, very good structure to be grown on short veg in high density. Can hold its own weight. Had some thrips during the run, they enjoyed other strains more.

Cheers.

Blueberry Cupcake x Blackberry auto (update)

A little bit of testing and some mostly unsuccessful pollinations with frozen pollen on my phenos from a shared breeding project between u/KNOfan, who made the seeds, and me.

The mom is the Blueberry Cupcake (last pic), a lucky find on my first grow in years once legalization hit Germany in 2024. The donor was a reversed Blackberry Auto from Fastbuds.

Picture 3 shows a pheno hunted by u/KNOfan, best terps in the tent. Pungent stank, makes you need to sneeze like pepper but smells like creamy sweet grapes with lavender. Not a dessert, not a perfume.

I selected mostly radically against Cupcake's weak branching. Pheno #19 (picture 5) is the structurally strongest plant. It has less cream but more blueberry terps coming through the sweet grape foundation most phenos display.

Pheno #4 (picture 2) is by terps the closest to the improved Cupcake. Terps as Cupcake-leaning as the colas are massive. #4 and #8 (first pic) are the heaviest yielders. It's very hard to decide. #4 and #8 became donors this run, but I am reversing #19 and making a clean F2 run again.

I am extremely mind blown by how fast this cross is. Flipped on the 11th of July, these plants just developed in no time. Pics are 2 days old.

u/KNOfan's pheno 12 is the fastest. Easy to say 43 days from flip the harvesting window opens. Budding is rapid and demands more nitrogen.

All plants tolerate absurd amounts of salt buildup.

Tested 1 L pots before and my Cupcake just died as a burned, locked-out mess, while especially #4 thrived.

These are all cuts. I switched my setup and was testing around substrates and container sizes.

It's crazy to see those massive buds are all in fabric pots and coco/perlite, ~1.5 L.

Same phenos for comparison in soil and plastic pots of 3 and 4 L underperform.

I switched the method up too.

I was running coco drain-to-waste before. I tried the Autopot Tray2Grow in between and was very happy with it, so I just built the core principle into my 4x4 drain table. Now it's basically a once-per-day flood and drain system, except it doesn't drain empty.

Plants stand on capillary matting with root barrier, elevated by PVC rails just over the nutrients. Once a day a pump timer circulates those nutrients with the res. I used 200 L of solution for that entire run on a filled 4x4.

I run Canna Terra nutes at 1.8 EC max. 160 mg calcium, 50 mg magnesium. Compared to the hunt, I replaced CalMag (nitrate based) with calcium oxide and MgSO4 to get nitrogen down. Saving up like 25% total nitrogen, and I cut back overall EC by 0.2–0.4 (so 10%). Since i switched to my insane hard tap water the overall cut on nutes is even more. Canna Terra suits it much better.

I also used 200 g of Greenhouse Feeding BioEnhancer (beneficial bacteria and kelp extract with lots of humic acid) in the reservoir. Also added Cannazym and Canna Boost, which I hadn't before, since organics are a risk I haven't seen materialise. Never cleaned my res either.

The initial hunt itself stayed greener, with a little fade into some dark blue/purple leaves and purple-ish bud.

With that new nutrient regime I now get the nice coloration u/KNOfan got on his beautiful phenos on no-till living soil.

I also do a little bit of stress testing, running pretty high PPFD, and the side door of the tent has been pretty far open for roughly 3 weeks. Got too little air intake — my drain table expanded slightly under the extra weight and is blocking the intake holes. I observed no herms during the hunt or on other runs with these cuts.

Phenos flip very fast. Knotting tops appear 3-4 days after flip, increased pistils appear 5-7 days. In one pic you can see an Amnesia Haze in the background. There you get an impression of how fast this cross goes.

I'm also testing some already existing F2s from him for auto phenos, plus an outcross of #4 on a Lemon Haze auto which honestly turned out to be at least a decent representation of its name, despite being a free seed from a whitelabel reseller.

I am totally in love with this cross and breeding this plant.

Blueberry Cupcake x Blackberry auto

Cross of my Blueberry cupcake keeper and a blackberry auto. Currently going into F2.

She is fast AF, flipped 11th of July. Day 41/42 of flower.

She will over mature her seeds ripening too slowly.

Animal mintz x triangle kush (Auto)

Gut frosty, nice terps. Riecht actually ein bißchen nach Streichelzoo. Kumpel sagt riecht eklig.

Ich spiele das zwar nicht aber...

Habt ihrs mal langsam? Lese ständig dass ihr triumphiert. Dann guck ich rum und stelle fest: sah schonmal besser aus. Was da los?

DIY Flood + Drain kapillar system

Moin,

Bild 1:

Bestehendes Grow-Tool 120x120 system aufgebaut.
