Veronica chose to wear her favorite purple Ariel gown again this year and chose to pair with her signature spiky headband, her OOAK deep purple velvet choker, and a matching purple fur shawl. She wasn't going to let Naomi outshine her with that big fur coat of hers!

So I got some dolls from a local seller on Facebook today, and while they had more dolls available as well, I was able to get another Scarlet, a 3rd FF Poppy, and the Green Eyed Color and Create doll for $42! I still have to wash their hair, but this is honestly a pretty good doll haul. And yes, Scarlet is one of my favorite SH dolls, so I like having multiples of her, as this is my 5th Scarlet doll in my collection. I will post updates on them once I wash their hair.🖤💜

So, for this month's Met Gala challenge theme, I decided to dress up my third set of Storm Twins in some of my favorite gowns!

Veronica looks like a goddess with her long braid inspired by Raiden Shogun's signature braid from Genshin Impact. Her beautiful light purple silvery gown was taken from a Mattel Ariel collector doll that I got for a really good sale price one time.

As for Naomi, her gown is from an older Evie Disney Descendants doll, and the blue makes her just as breathtakingly beautiful and etherial as her twin! Her hair is long and loose, showing its goregeous blend of oilslick colors.

So, the base doll who is currently being eyeswapped is Gabriella Icely. But the hair is the part of this custom that I am the most nervous about, because I am not used to cutting my RH dolls' hair really short and I am at the best at cutting bangs sometimes (Ainsley's center part made this part way easier on the Homura custom doll).

Other than the haircut, there is another thing that I need advice on: What specific color of blue Rit Dye do I use to get the correct shade of blue for this custom? And I read that normal Rit Dye is better for dying RH hair and not to use Rit-Dyemore. But if you have ever dyed a doll's hair a color like this, I would like to know what specific color to use for this project.🖤💜
