It really sucks that when I check a live bus stop schedule, it only shows the next 3 buses to arrive. Is there any alternative way to view more buses?

Maybe good for those who are just moving into the area and don’t wanna pay full price for new furniture. I’ve passed a wet/dry fabric vacuum over each one to make sure they’re clean. I could toss them but it would seem like a waste. Happy to negotiate the price, but really hoping to get rid of them as soon as possible. HMU if you or someone you know would be interested.

What are some other good NYC-based subreddits to list pieces of furniture for sale? I recently moved into a new place and looking to get rid of some stuff. I’m open to options outside of Reddit, but thought it would just be more convenient to try here.

It is frankly a mystery to me why it’s so hard to get people to even consider living in NJ and why you almost get ridiculed for even suggesting it. In my experience, most people would prefer to live all the way out in Brooklyn or Queens at the end of a subway line when it’s closer, quicker, and cheaper to be just across the river in Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, etc. It makes it such a hassle just to find a roommate and is really becoming frustrating at this point.

I’ve been thinking of moving from Hoboken to Union City since it makes my work commute somewhat shorter and I found some really nice apartments that seem to offer much more than what you can get in Hoboken for the same price. But I’ve only ever been there once a few years ago walking along some of those streets that overlook Hoboken, and haven’t really been there since. What’s it like overall living there, and what are some must see/avoid areas?
