I can't post this in a TADC subreddit I'll get crucified

as the title implies, I will be hung. But this is coming from a place of love for TADC and Jax (since my system has a jax alter who we all hate /hj)

Anyways, I love analysing characters, and I can absolutely see how Jax was intended to be a transgender woman (and especially since Goose has confirmed it)

But, I feel like my OWN understanding of Jax never really fit the transgirl idea (which isn't me saying theres no hints. THERES SO MANY!!! but I never felt like it was a term that fit Jax personally)

I'd say canonically Lee[roy] is 100% a transgender woman who struggles to accept it but is aware of it (I mean boymodding cmon) while Jax is a transgender woman in denial who is very confused and defensive about the possibility while dealing with extreme dysphoria.

whereas, in my own internal understanding, I probably wouldn't even separate Lee[roy]/Jax, and I see him as a cisgendered guy, struggling with toxic masculinity imposed by his mother. On the other hand, I see Pomni as a transgender woman who is honest with herself and has transitioned but occasionally has massive spouts of dysphoria. I'm not entirely sure why, but to our Jax alter, this is just 👍👍 true since our Jax alter has a lot of memories with Pomni. Canonically, in Glitchs Show?? No, of course not.

Just wanted to chat a little about it since it makes us a little guilty but it's impossible to sort of change the view on that when you have an alter who is the complete opposite of canon gender wise and views the other members differently from canon as well :'] I'm hoping this sub is understanding of it cause I know other TADC subs will immediately jump to some sort of conclusion about our character from this

What was everyone's first darkship/comship

I'm sure this gets asked a lot, but I'm curious:]

Newcomers are allowed, of course!!!

I'd say mine must've been sontails since I grew up watching all of the Sonic shows (like Sonic X) and etcetc & played a few games — i must've been like 8 or something, buzzing over them, without any idea of how people would see it as something negative or perverted. I just thought they were cute, and they were my favourites, so surely in my head they HAD to kiss.

I am still obsessed with sontails, and I love them so so so much :] But what about everyone else?

Ship Chart :]

I used to really enjoy DW, so I wanted to make one of the charts. Mine are very random. I apologise, LMAO

HELLOO here's a random dump of my ships that no one asked for

I've darkshipped for a while, but I didn't realise there was a sub for proshipping. Here's a few of my ships:] some r darkships, some r regular

(5th* slide is by @void_void_0, last slide by @kutenu0)

I have wayyyy more, but I dont have the credits for the artists, and I'd feel weird posting without credits

[Im a strict monoshipper, I probably won't reply about other ships featuring these characters, but I still support ofc lalala)

What do you do about "problematic" headmates?

tw: possibly syscourse? I'm not entirely sure.

Pure curiosity; a lot of our system is relatively nice — some of our headmates have conflicting interests, but nothing too profound.

*however*, there are some alters which make the whole system feel awful for even being remotely related — I've heard some people mention sysrecovery (not entirely sure what that entails, we havent researched that much despite our diagnosis...) or trying to force out these more than problematic alters (as ive also seen an influx online of people asking why systems don't just.. remove them)

I'm struggling deeply with having some immensely problematic headmates. Some have caused other alters to go dormant as well, so it's incredibly frustrating for the rest of us

I don't know if there's a method to the madness of getting ""rid"" of the more problematic headmates or a way to dormant them without putting stress on our other headmates.

Thanks either way, I'm not the best with words, so this might make no sense.

Quick Question?

(I forgot to include my question in the title. I apologise)

I'm on an alternative account purely because our system has a close-knit group of other system friends, and we've heard mixed results from them.

It's been a little less than two years since we've really come to terms with ourselves, but personally, we've had difficulties keeping track of our 'alters' or really setting boundaries between them.

I've seen a lot online more recently that people with 'problematic alters' are doing it intentionally or can control and remove the alters. I simply cannot.. if I could. I'd remove everything.

But I'm wondering from other systems' perspectives, what is the general consensus on this? Obviously, I know system accountability, and I agree wholeheartedly with that. But the idea of removing an alter or controlling them is impossible for me since we can rarely tell who is who at the time, and it's all a blur anyways. I don't know if I'm missing something. Thanks either way. Sorry if my wording is poor, I haven't slept 👍
