Hi everyone,
I’m 21 years old from India and I want to learn trading the right way instead of chasing random Telegram tips or “100% profit” calls.
My goal isn’t to become rich overnight. I want to build a solid understanding of the stock market, technical analysis, risk management, and trading psychology so I can eventually earn a consistent side income.
I have around ₹5,000–₹10,000 that I’m willing to use only after I’ve learned the basics. Right now, I’m more interested in learning than gambling.
I have a few questions:
Where should a complete beginner start?
Which books, YouTube channels, or courses are actually worth it?
Is price action enough, or should I also learn indicators?
Should I start with stocks or options?
How long did it take you before you became consistently profitable?
What are the biggest mistakes beginners make?
I’d really appreciate advice from traders who have been profitable for a while. I’m willing to put in the time and effort to learn properly.
