Experienced something bizarre last week, which I thought to be a coincidence, but after reading a similar post on r/NaviMumbaiMeetups, I'm convinced it's a scam or something...

Tuesday's have an offer on PVR INOX, and even Cinepolis, where the tickets are available for most movies at a heavily discounted rate... I've attended Drishyam 3, The Devil Wears Prada 2 & Sheep Detectives recently on Tuesday nights...

But in June 09, for the Obsession 08:30 PM show, I discovered something sus... The screen was nearly full, and only single digit seats remained... I hurriedly booked a seat, and reached the venue by 08:30, but found myself to be the only person there!!

Two girls passed me inside, and I enquired whether they saw a nearly full screen at the time of booking, and did not get any mail for screening cancellation, or shifting right? They replied in the negative...

I assumed Panvelkars to have gamified the late arrival to perfection to sleep all ads, and trailers... But by the time the national anthem was sung, only 10-12 people were present for the screening...

The movie was interesting to say the least, and with only 10-12 people in the screen was an eerie experience... But till I saw the similar experience recounted on the other sub, i completely forgot to post it on this sub...
