Seeking: Recs for ground cover on a steep slope.
Recently cleared dense blackberry and worried about soil integrity. It's a steep slope (40 degrees), and at the bottom is a 10 foot boulder retaining wall that borders the neighbors (very flat and manicured) lawn.
Seeking something fast growing, and not invasive obvs. Just put in a ton of work planting aroumd the house and would rather not cultivate something that will spit annoyance all over the newly worked gardens.

Woman's Shelter Donations: Ponchos, Cards, and Coloring Supplies; pickups 5/14 & 5/15
A friend is the director of a woman's shelter in the NW called Bethanie's Room and they are seeking any usuable:
-Ponchos, rain coats or rain jackets of adult sizes. Plus sizes enthusiastically welcome!
-1-player Card Games
-Coloring books, markers, coloring pencils, or crayons
Since the rainy season is mostly behind us, I was hoping some closet rummaging for ponchos would support the shelter for next fall.
The shelter opens at 7pm each night, with lights out at 11pm. This offers a large window of time for woman to rest and doodle. The director has indicated that 1-player entertainment encourages a calm atmosphere.
I've recently been laid off, so, can drive around all day next Thursday and Friday May 14th and May 15th. Can do cross street pick-up, sidewalk pickup, porch pick-up, or hand-off.
Please add the neighborhood and cross streets to the thread and DM me with your addy. I will update this post with a probable route a day or two before pickups begin.

Friend needs to replace his rotting perimeter fence, and I'm worried about trampling. I've been trolling the neighborhood picking up pots as I find them, but it's slow going and I'm getting worried.

They are about 2 feet tall, and I think there are 3 in this cluster. It's growing under a japenese maple, so, it's shade toletant. Must dig up.
