So my girlfriend and I are in a competition who can make a better mini with a twist of theme. They are making a Miku seraphim and I a Goku black lord exaltant and I’ve been bashing my head against a wall past 2 days and idk how to get the hair to come out right or the ki blade. Any advice or videos someone can send my way?? I have till Monday to have it built and pained and I NEED win this thing lads cause I do NOT wanna be stuck in a maid dress ),:

So Im doing a a decimus kitbash for my army and I waned to put an Aeldari corpse but I only have the Drukhari wyches. I think with little work I can make this come off as one but let me know what you guys think

My Gf bought and sent this out to me and it came today so (despite much swearing cause I struggle working with superglue an resin) I put him together and while he’s a little small compared to most minis now I still think it’s super cool

Been a bit since I worked on painting and my gf was scolding me about it since I keep saying I need to do it and she bought me a tyberos so I figured i work on painting some before he arrives

So I’ve been working on my Decimus kitbash and wanted y’all’s thoughts and maybe some helpful tips or suggestions! Sorry for lack of pics I was very tired since I came back from a buddy’s wedding yesterday and forgot to get pics😂😂 Srry gang

Also ik my photo adding skills are just immaculate , but it is basically what I’m thinking for how he is looking rn to give a good idea what I’m thinking he’s look like posing wise

I’m using the Space marine lieutenant as a base cause of the imperial eagle on the chest. I removed the waist gaurds and the seal on the butt to give room for having to have some trim (we’ll get to that later😅)

I don’t have pics apparently with the legs with the rib cage, but it’s pretty bad since I don’t know my way with free stuff and doing it with it to try and push myself! (I’ll try to get a pic to add in the replies later) but I do have the one before sanding and before I had put some triangular pieces which idk if they’ll stay or not depends on if I think they are needed or if it’s too much and will need removed (again not many pics very tired from the wedding yesterday and been working on this all week lol)

I’m using some 3rd party heads from Resin Munitorum and don’t know how I’ll get the rune on there or just got without it.

For the cape and the one pauldron, I’m simply using the caper an the skinthief pauldron that has the winged skull for his right (our left) shoulder

As for the arms Idk yet wha I’ll do, the art I have in there is my reference and I’m thinking since murderwing got the upscale treatment like the red corsairs, I’ll look at those sprues and see if I can find something that could work without too much green stuff

As of War sage’s storm bolter and the sword, I’m looking at the bolter from Resin Munitorum, vulture cult double machine pistol and the buy super small chain to wrap around it, but the sword I’m unsure of. I don’t think we’ve gotten an official artwork of the blood angel sword and most descriptions always focus on the blood drop in the center of the hilt I think. Any ideas where to find on that loos well or fits with this?

I had jus finished the night lords trilogy the day prior and ordered some Decimus heads an managed to get my hands on this guy last night when it all arrived

I need any ideas, on what I can do to make these bodies more rugged and/or corrupted to make them fit more in my 40K army. NO BAD IDEAS!! Even if you don’t know how it would be pulled off please let me know

I am thinking about converting these into Night Lord biker proxies any tips or sprues I should look into to help me out?

Yes not very good Ik but this is only my 3rd mini ever painted and I haven’t used any null oil yet but it’s 4:30 am for me so cut me some slack XD

Got to green stuffing some details on to box 1 of 3 of my minis. Not the greatest job but got to start somewhere. I’ll say the warp talon stuff can out better then the last 2 pics.

I wanted it to be like their weapons as normal raptors fused to there flesh and are busting out of their armor (kinda like the obliterator virus) as if they are in an inbetween of raptor and warp talon plus I can have them be one or the other for army lists.

The last two were supposed to have like skin stuck on to give them a tad more personality but the first one came out terrible for that but maybe I can swing it to be like a warped armor piece with a face? Idk let me know what yall think!
