Does anybody know where to find this one mod that Vinesauce played way back in 2016?

https://youtu.be/l1Ag1s_9oXw?t=425

I watched Vinesauce play this Doom mod a super long time ago and it occured to me that I should probably try it out myself. I can't figure out the name, so I've personally nicknamed it Palindrome Doom (trust me, you'll immediately see why). I've looked it up, searching that same name and even searching 'ThhT UltimitjU DooD' and couldn't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where to find it?

Any recommendations for lets-players like Markiplier?

I hope I wasn't too long with this text, but I sometimes find myself watching Markiplier, mainly his older videos from when I was young, but only Mark specifically. I don't know what it is about Markiplier that just rubs my brain in more or less exactly the right way, especially when it's a game that isn't super story driven and just lets Mark talk while playing the game second-nature as if he were driving a car (ex. most FNAF games, papers please, im on observation duty, night of the consumers). His sense of humor is exceptionally similar to mine and, again, rubs my brain in exactly the right way that every other letsplayer I've tried hasn't. His persona is silly and childish, and vaguely reminiscient of Homer Simpson. He knows exactly when to switch between acting comically immature and being deeply introspective. And his newer post-covid videos are considerably more calm and slower paced, which I definitely prefer over letsplayers who metaphorically jingle their keys in my face every 2 seconds. I only like basic editing like cutting out the parts where nothing is happening, adding the outro, and only doing anything else if it substantially enhances the comedy.

I think that eversince I've gotten my own gaming computer, the knowledge that I could just play most of the games they play myself whenever I feel like it has kinda made me grow out of them. I'm not really watching for the game like I used to, I'm just watching to hear what's going through their heads while they play. I found myself turning on Mark's playthrough of FNAC 3 while folding laundry just because I loved his stories about the nightmares he had as a kid that he shared.

TL;DR: Markiplier spoiled my appetite and I can't find anyone else who rubs my brain like he does

I really wish they would re-release the Dishonored book trilogy in leatherbound form.

Am I the only one who feels this way? I would absolutely buy the entire set if they did that. Seriously, Bethesda should've really looked at the kind of money people are still dropping on Dishonored merch to this day, official/firsthand or otherwise, and realized just how nice a leatherbound version of the books would look on people's shelves. You know how some hardcore Dishonored fans are. Some people (including me) would pay a lot of money for the fanciest versions of the books possible. Maybe even archival-grade.

I'm thinking maybe the Corroded Man could be colored black with gold accent colors (to match Corvo's outfit), the Return of Daud could be maroon red with black accent colors (to match Daud's outfit), and the Veiled Terror could be dark blue with light blue accent colors (to match the Void and the color of whale-oil). And all three would have the outsider's mark inscribed on the front in their respective accent colors.

I'm back (bust of Daud)

I know that I haven't been posting any art in a while, so I figured I'd come back strong with something you folks have been asking for since my streak started. I know what I said about how I'd start making more elaborate pieces that weren't just busts, but I figured I'd make this as a way of proving to this subreddit that I'm still alive, lol

I don't know if I'll be able to keep the streak up. (But I'm not quitting entirely)

For any of you who are unaware, I have been on an over 40-day long streak of posting one piece of Dishonored fanart every day. I have realized that this streak, while great at keeping me drawing (which was a huge part of the point), was simply going to result in me churning out a bunch of generic, formulaic pieces every day that only has as much love and care as 2 to 4 hours of work can give me. Even despite how empty my daily schedule is, it's very easy to be nickel-and-dimed on time and perpetually wind up procrastinating on my commitment to the streak.

I'm sure you've all noticed that my Hatter piece looks easily the most distinct out of all of them. This was because I had given myself two days, not just one, to complete it. I think that moving on with this mindset of quality over quantity will make my future pieces look just as good as that one, if not even nicer.

As I said in the title, I'm not quitting entirely. I just won't be doing it on a daily basis anymore. I think maybe THIS is the reason I never drew Daud yet. He's just too good of a character to only give the same amount of care and love in his drawing as the others.

I am very thankful for the surprising amount of positive attention my drawings have gotten, and I look forward to showing you more of my distinct style applied to Dishonored's wonderfully gothic aesthetics in the future.

TL;DR: Bad news, I'm quitting the streak, but good news, because of it, my future art will be even better and more elaborate since I will have more time to work on it now.

Day 45 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (bust of Custis Pendleton)

I might include a bonus self-portrait in the comment section at some point. I intended to get it done in time to include with the post itself but I lost track of time.

Day 43 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (portrait of unnamed Hatter)

This is easily the one I am most proud of out of all the 43 I have posted so far. This took me a while, but I am proud of it. I've actually started working on it earlier in the day rather than waiting until like 8PM to get started, and that's why yesterday's was just a WIP of this. I sort of wanted to do an homage to the Red Dead Redemption 1 cover art. I'm really excited to see what this subreddit thinks of this piece.

Day 42 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (unfinished Hatter gangster art, should be done tomorrow)

I've been working on this pretty much all day today, and I am super proud of it. I think the more elaborate pieces like this one will probably take several days and will mean my uploads will just be work-in-progress photos (and no, I don't plan to make the watermark that big in the final piece). I haven't done everything yet. I might add sideburns and properly implement the hands wrapping over the pistol. I may even make it a full-body image, or perhaps just keep it at the waist up, Elvis style.

Day 41 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (busts of the three Boyle sisters, from 2021)

The watermark is my old username from back then. I kinda lost track of time today and uploaded yet another old piece again. My more recent stuff looks much more polished than this.

Day 38 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (bust of Wallace Higgins)

I remember I heard a rumor once that Piero's model was originally intended to have been Wallace's, but their appearances got switched shortly before the game released. I like this model for Piero better. The five o-clock shadow, messy hair and eye shadows do a better job emphasizing how much designing his own creations had driven him to a subtle madness. And that creepy pervert look you'd expect to see on somebody spying through a bathroom door like Piero does at one point. I still don't understand why they changed it.

Day 37 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (old bust of Piero doing a creepy smile, age 15)

"Snowflake locks". Yeah. Sure.

I was going to do one of Wallace today, but I tried doing that on my new laptop I got and it inconvenietly keeps crashing repeatedly while opening File explorer to move the Krita file from my laptop to my desktop. I really gotta give myself some more cushion-time (a personal term for extra time for incase something goes wrong) to get these done when I wanna do it in a more experimental way.

This is from when I was 15, when my style was noticeably more "curvey" and "bubbly" as opposed to now. It hadn't quite mutated into its own original thing yet. Looking at this, I think you could pretty easily guess who my favorite animator whose name started with the letter V was.

Day 35 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (bust of barrister Arnold Timsh)

These are starting to get a little formulaic. I really gotta stop procrastinating and churning one of these out at nearly the end of every day and start stockpiling on drawings by getting a bunch done at once. It really shouldn't be so glaringly obvious when I'm taking a vacation day.

Day 34 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (traditional pre-trace of another piece)

This was before I got my drawing tablet and made the switch to fully digital. And yes I know this technically isn't an actual dishonored character but man I'm about to have a long day tomorrow and I need to get as much sleep as I can

Day 33 of drawing Dishonored characters in my style (bust of Treavor Pendleton)

I can see how much I've improved over the past 30 or so days since my drawing of Morgan, and I would probably have to draw him again with the slightly more updated look!

Something about Treavor was always interesting to me. I don't even really know what. Something about how unique and immediately recognizeable his voice is despite not having many other qualities that stick out for me. There's even a character in my webnovel, Magnum-Opus: MASQUERADE, that I headcanon sounding exactly like him. You'll know who I'm talking about when (or if) you get to his introduction.
