This is a digital mock-up of something I saw on a walk last night probably some time around 9:15PM EST in Central DE (if that matters).
This is roughly the speed it was moving at, and the duration it lasted (while it was visible to us anyway)
It eventually vanished, and when it did the orange-ish color it had dissipated in a way that was almost not even visible
I was searching all over the internet in attempts to find something that looked like it, and I never turned up with anything. I’m hoping that someone here can shed some insight as to what I might’ve seen.
Whatever it was, it was a very cool experience seeing something so unusual.

This is Vienna. I believe the whole world should see her.
She is a very very special little creature. She is about 5 years old, and not much bigger than your average kitten (most meeting her for the first time believe she is a baby).
Her mom (last slide) is a tortie (and also tiny) which we believe attributes to her very peculiar behaviour. She really enjoys chasing leaves as if they have cursed her family in some way. Photo #5 is from when she found the catnip and knocked it off the counter all for herself, and then she ran into the porch to watch the birds.

Got a bead kit recently and decided to make bracelets for each one of our frequent fronting members
