“No one works here anymore”

Like classic beloved albums that you just can’t get into. Mine is Who’s Next by the Who. I get this album was super innovative and impactful, especially for its use of synths, but I don’t think it’s as consistently strong enough for its reputation imo. I recently came out as bi to my parents and it didn’t go well. Baba O’Riley, Bargain, behind blue eyes, and won’t get fooled again are all amazing tracks. But the rest of the album is just decent? Like could u seriously tell me how My wife or Going mobile goes? I prefer their other albums much more. Great album cover tho.

It’s been talked about A LOT how the duffers were straight up terrified to kill off a single character in season 5. If you could rewrite season 5, who would you kill off?

Mine would be Ted in episode 2. How/why is he still alive? 😭 He serves literally no purpose after that and only appears in a couple scenes. In earlier seasons, he was mainly comedic relief that represented the human ‘normal’ side of the show. His death early in season 5 would’ve immediately escalated the stakes and danger. Instead, as it stands it just nerfs the Demogorgon who can’t even kill a middle-aged guy with a golf club now.

Karen, for similar reasons. While she does have some plot relevance later with the whole hospital thing, that could’ve been passed onto one of the billion other side characters.

Nancy and Johnathon. Their scene in the goop room was one of the only scenes that had me genuinely emotional, only for it to be undone immediately as they survive when the goop solidifies (for some reason?). Instead of a scene that could’ve had an emotional and narrative impact, it was just another cheap fake out death 🙄.
