Flabbergasting Volume 14 spoilers

So.... That was one hell of an ending.... Frederica is back on the throne??? With Shin by her side??? Asato??? I wished I waited at least until volume 15 was released coz this cliffhanger is too much for me. Is the Federacy going to go back to being an Empire? If that is so, will Frederica be forced to rule? Or have a regent (Shin? Ernst?) until she's old enough? Why's Shin there? To protect her from those vile things? Forced by them to be there? What happened to Project Overlord, they can't proceed without Frederica and certainly not without the Reaper. I did entertain the thought of Lena possibly becoming a real Queen and not just the Eighty Six's Queen but I really didn't think they'd put Frederica on the throne during this chaos.... Can't volume 15 come out sooner.... ToT

Volume 12 spoilers but also mentioned stuff from previous novels

So, Captain, did you use that ambergris? I remember Esther giving it to that one pretty girl with silver hair from your squad when she heard you and Colonel Milizé got together.”

He meant Anju. Was she the one who gave Lena the ambergris? Either way, Shin paused briefly before responding:

“I invoke my right to remain silent.”

“I mean, we gave it to you, so we’re curious to hear if you put it to use. That thing’s pretty hard to get, you know?”

Shin smiled broadly, which made Raiden and Bernholdt pull away from him in fear.

“Colonel… You’re being insensitive.”

That particular line about if Anju was the one who gave Lena the perfume got me tripping. If he knew of it..... That meant she used it after all..... I had to go back to see if I missed anything lol. How cruel of the author, I would've liked to read what happened, and Shin's reaction made it all the better.

Rant from vol 11 early pages

Was kicking my blankets and giggling not too long ago when my ship finally (officially) sailed.... Only to find.....

"In honor of Lieutenant Colonel Shinei Nouzen".

I mean, when one say things like that in a book called Memoirs..... There isn't much room to interpret is there....? I've been scared to read the Memoirs or other quotes they put at the beginning or end of the volumes and I wasn't disappointed...

Been trying to run around in circles going like "that doesn't mean he was dead at the time she said that" or "this was written long after everything happened so maybe he died first of old age and Lena said that when Memoirs was being made afterwards."

Can't help but feel like I'm reaching here but in the author we trust (Hopefully)
