I got this glitter lamp off marketplace bc it was sold with a lava lamp as a set for $20 total, I manly wanted the lava lamp. The thing is, on the inside it says 25w s11 bulb, the bulb that was in it when I got it was a typical r39 reflecting bulb. It fits into the bulb input , but before using a 25w r39 bulb I already have that fits and works, should I just get the proper bulb? I guess my question bottom line is will something go wrong if I use this bulb in this lamp?

I scored these 2 lamps for $20 off marketplace, one has wax in it and the other just has glitter flakes in the shape of stars, would it be worth it to buy a kit and switch out the glitter for wax???

I found this lava lamp at goodwill the other day, bought a new pack of bulbs and I’m discovering it was not just a bum bulb 😩 are there replacement bases I can buy? Or do I need to become an electrician and figure out how to rewire this base ? I was so sad last night bc I was looking forward to testing out the lamp just to be let down by an electrical problem 😭

I’m really really regretting not getting this when I saw it the other day. I plugged it in and it wouldn’t come on, most likely just a bulb issue, I just didn’t want to get it and a new bulb for it to be an issue with the liquid inside. I was so close to buying it and talked myself out of it, now I’m sad 😩 if you live in Charlotte, NC and picked this up, props to you!

Didn’t have a tag on it, the cashier only charged me .50 cents! This will be displayed right by my front door lmao
