Birthday card from aunt has me seeing red

So, a little backstory before I explain.

My aunt - my mother's sister - and I have a strained relationship since my mother died last year. Not to get too much into it but the estrangement has to do with how my aunt acted after my mother's death. Also my mom left me a lot of money which I think is relevant here. My aunt has been trying to "mend" it since, which included her sending me a birthday card, check and gift this last year, which she normally doesn't do. She is also my godmother, and I am named after her.

Firstly, I was surprised to get a card from her at all, but was open to repairing the relationship, so I read it with hope. She wrote,

"Happy 41, where does the time go? Seems like just yesterday you were a child. I'm so proud of the woman you are. Aren't you glad your Mom choose to have children?" (Then Smiley face)

The last sentence left such a sour taste in my mouth and totally ruined the sweet sentiment of the previous sentences.

I showed it to my bf and he agreed it was totally passive aggressive.

My aunt knows I'm childfree AND SHE IS AS WELL. Like what the F? That was a jab, right? Am I overreacting?

Thoughts?

Free Bowling for Soup ticket

Hey y'all! I love Bowling for Soup, but can't go to the show in June 6.

Would anyone like my ticket?

They're a pop punk band, and very fun!

DM me if you want it!

Do you ever just look at your dog, and think "This is the most perfect creature, and how did I get so lucky to have him/her?"

Is it insane with grocery prices the way they are now to try to feed me and my boyfriend on $100 a week? I cook all our meals, and we're fine eating vegetarian (I prefer that, however he's not so crazy about it, lol).

Has anyone else successfully been doing this?
