Staying Sharp

Ive had my EMT-B for about 6 months now, working an IFT while I get medic school sorted (I know some people might think its "to soon" but as a basic your so limited and basically just a babysitter that can give O2 at least thats how it is at this service) I feel like im losing what I learned in school. My question is do yall keep going through stuff like your old flashcard, notes, or books to keep it all fresh? And for staying up to date on new things in the EMS world what sites/literature do you read so you dont fall behind? Maybe its the BLS Transfers getting to me and making me complacent. I do my PT assignments (much to the annoyance of some facilities and partners) I help my partner where I can (we run basic/medic trucks) I go through med lists we get from facilities and try to look them up in my off time to see whats for what. Maybe I just need to jump to a different service (IFT ofc the basic spots in my area are super competitive almost 100 people for the 1 basic spot thats open every 6 months it seems) Sorry for the long rant I just dont want to become another IFT basic who gets left behind because im not staying sharp. Appreciate yalls time.

Sluggish Starting

2024 Civicsport with the 2.0L and CVT I re one started my car a few days ago and when I went out it wasnt started, had to disconnect the battery bc it kept thinking the key was inside the car and wouldn't "turn off". Fast forward to yesterday/today this happens, but only on a cold start. Went to autozone after the first time they said the battery was "good but might need to be charged" so am I looking at, a new battery. Car had 3miles when I bought it 2 years ago is that normal for new Honda batteries?

I've had a (new production) King Cobra for a while now usually just carry it when im wearing my hoochie daddy shorts or if I have to tuck in my shirt. I've tried some of the HKS speed loader and ive had issues with them jamming and getting the rounds and speedloader stuck halfway into the cylinder. My question, is there another speedloader I should try or just commit to the speed strips. I also use it to shoot the local backup gun comps so id prefer to find a speedloader that doesnt hate me but if its not an option ill train up on the strips. Pics for fun.

So I recently stumbled onto this game originally I was googling the Strike dice game bc a friend had it and it was amazing, quick and simple game. Saw this in the Google shop recs checked it out and immediately got interested since my wife and I both love magic and dice this seemed like a simpler more friendly game to bring for game nights instead of trying to convince our game night group to learn MTG. What would yall recommend picking up, season 1 or 2 box, and are the "PvE" adventures worth picking up? TIA for any input.
