I am planning to buy some xbox games that are on deal. I have been trying to buy an Xbox gift card from Microsoft website from yesterday. It gave a few issues. First i found that i had not activated International transactions in my credit card. Activated that. Even then the transaction was failing. Read somewhere that the billing address should be accurate to the dot like street address, city etc. Done that. Still it did not turn successful. Then switched to another credit card. Repeated the process, activated International transactions, provided the billing address accurately. Still it was not fruitful. Let it rest for few hours, then tried again. No luck still. At this point i gave it up frustratingly.

Now, purchased an Xbox gift card from Amazon that said MS Ultimate Game pass for Rs.1089. Actually i do not want the game pass subscription. All i want is to load the xbox balance and use it to purchase games on deal. I assumed this Rs.1089 gift card would let me load my balance (even though it clearly said Game pass Ultimate membership). For starters, i did not see a plain Xbox gift card in Amazon or Paytm. Only gift cards with gamepass label on it. After the payment, the email i received with the code also clearly states “Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: 1 Month Membership Gift Card”. Silly me! This seems to be not i wanted.

Still, hoping against hope, can someone please confirm if this redemption will either redeem 1 month membership (which seems most likely) OR load Rs.1089 to my xbox balance that i can use at my convenience?

Are we guys so disgusting that 7-8 out of 10 posts in PS5-India reddit group is all about the victory of buying a console? Just browsed PS5 groups outside india, i am not finding posts in the recent past about someone posting a similar one. Those people are only discussing about the games and related stuff. They are enjoying their lives.

Look at us, obsessing over PS5 deals and drooling over your ability to get the console at a better deal of 50k than other buyers. If you are able to buy one, great, go and enjoy. Review the games that you play, what you liked and disliked. Don’t come here seeking validation if the price you purchased the damn console for is great or not. Makes you look like an idiot. If you have spent 50k on a gaming console, you have already put a huge hole in your pocket or your family’s bank. Let that sink in. People who come here brag the price they purchased it for are the same people who will never put the console to its fullest use for what it is intended, but just brag. Because they don’t know what to do with the console after buying.

Tata Play or Airtel or Sun Direct?

Mostly to watch Tamil/English News and Sports channels (preferably in HD).
Already have Airtel fiber internet connection. Not interested in their IPTV channels.
Would like to have channels independent of internet connection.

Purchased a TCL Q6C QD-miniLed 55” TV. When TCL technician was installing the TV, i noticed a few dead pixels. Another reddit member recommended a white screen test during installation, i simply followed his advice, thanks to him. The technician tried to dismiss that this was not a big issue. Still, i registered a complaint with TCL customer care. It has been 3 days and no communication from TCL yet. Anyone faced a similar issue? Does this warrant a TV replacement?

I am planning to buy a multipurpose printer. In addition to regular printing, i plan to use it for printing family photos as well. The photo frames i have at home are in these sizes (all in inches) - 4x6, 5x7, 6x8, 6x10, 8x10 and A4. I am not sure if a canon/hp/brother printer can print in photo sheets of the above sizes. Any thoughts?

I looked at one Brother multipurpose printer T730DW, the product page lists only 4x6 and 5x7 as the photo sizes it could take. I thought if a printer could print an A4 sheet, it should print any photo up to A4 size. Is that not so?
