Really like the vibe of the faction but by the sounds of it Necrons have been hit pretty hard? I've just bought the combat patrol but any tips what to expand into following the changes?

What's our best loadout Vs Custodes? I'm thinking because I'm likely to end up in melee with them to go electroscourge and maybe baleflamer for overwatching, thoughts?

I'm getting a defiler and not sure how to go about painting it. I'm primarily a TSons player but would like to use it in my WE army too, any tips on how to paint it to make it fit in both armies, or just fully lean into TSons?

I play a friend weekly who solely plays Custodes and is constantly beating me on points. I see most advice about them says to split them up, but I can never get them off enough objectives and come round 4 I'm miles behind on points. Any advice?
