Found these at a thrift store thought you guys might find it interesting!

I was at a thrift store a little while ago and I found these books. I'm hoping to get these to someone who can preserve them or at least have them protected for future use. But in the meantime I figured I'd share them here because they're pretty interesting! (Not sure if that's actually what this subreddit is for, but you know)

Selling Aluminum Cans?

Anyone know where I can sell these? I buy them. I have a soda addiction. Might as well try to make a little coin on the trash rather than just tossing in my recycle bin.

Was recently watching a video on Babylonian mythology and was wondering what they might look like as a civ. A rough idea:

Civilization Mechanic: I've always been fond of the level up mechanics found in games like Command and Conquer. And I figured it could be an interesting concept to implement here.

Favor: Resources generate a percentage of favor which can be toggled to increase the percentage offered at the temple much like how the Asian Dynasty civs generated export in AOE3.

Temple Building: The Ziggurat, Temple and that doubles as the Babylonian economic building.

Major Gods:

An- the divine personification of the sky, king of the gods, and ancestor of many of the deities in ancient Mesopotamian religion.

Enlil- the Mesopotamian god associated with wind, air, earth, and storms.

Enki- the Mesopotamian god of wisdom, crafts, fresh subterranean waters, magic, and incantations.

Economic units:

Ardu: A weak Babylonian villager. Can buy their freedom in later ages. As it gathers resources it gets "promoted" after so many resources are collected by that villager as they rank up they also get a small boost to HP, Attack and gather rates.

Progression goes: Ardu -> Mushkenu -> Amelu

Soldiers: Babylonian Soldiers are relatively weak at first lacking damage bonuses other civs have but they do more damage gain powerful bonuses the longer they survive.

Last but not least Wonders:

Great Ziggurat of Ur

Hanging Gardens if Babylon

The Ishtar Gate

Look I get it. This isn't perfect but it's a rough idea of what I think is a pretty neat concept at least. Not denying some of the stuff is overpowered probably and needs. You know. Some toning down but let me hear you guys thoughts. Please be kind!!

I just read Ace Dad's advice post on this. And I'm going to be honest. I'm not entirely sold. First and foremost I'd like to emphasize I disliked the design before I had any clue of the creators race. That being said, I know that the very same sentence can be used to deflect racism so I'll digress.

My biggest complaint had nothing to do with the concept behind it, the meaning of the colors or anything else. My issues stemmed from the issue I already have with the current Ace flag, that being its similarities it's the Non-binary flag. If we are going to change it I definitely think making it more unique is important either by giving it some sort of emblem, changing the shades, or a total redesign. Don't get me wrong I love the new flag, it looks good, I'm not denying the hard work and thought that was put into it.

I guess what I am saying is I couldn't care less about the creators race/gender/nationality/religion etc. If we are making a new flag it needs to stand out from other pride flags. Perhaps a compromise can be reached? Taking one of the colors from their flag deaign and adding replacing the white stripe?
