They’re talking about us being delusional. How about let’s talk about this individual. (Not gonna show their names because I’m respectful)

Stop spreading the “Michael Jackson actually saved children from Epstein’s Island” nonsense. As a Mj fan myself, this is obviously not something to go off of and not a real news report (that was viral before) with no backed up or verified evidence to support the claim that Michael Jackson saved children from Jeffrey Epstein. While this narrative has spread widely on social media, for idiotic reasons, fact-checkers and independent investigations have found no documentation connecting Jackson to rescuing children from Epstein’s network.
Don’t get me mixed up with someone saying he’s guilty because there is a DISTINCT line between me relying on evidence that is proven and me relying on viral torches. It’s so maddening how people on our side use this argument to justify their claim. YOU are making our case work and making us gullible for this who believe this somehow believe this nonsense. I don’t want to be mean but we got to stick with our basis. We are on the winning side.
>!And here’s an edit: If you are downvoting me, you either disagree, or you are in denial. Just thought I’d let you know.!<
This just pisses me off a bit…
“But he’s weird” (or “Wacko Jacko”)
Catch-all dismissal for his eccentric image: pet chimpanzee Bubbles, rumored hyperbaric chamber, Neverland Ranch, wearing masks/gloves in public, and childlike behavior. Ignores the extreme pressures of childhood stardom, isolation, and the intense artistic personality common among geniuses.
“But he had kids in his bedroom” (referring to Neverland sleepovers)
Refers to children (often with parents’ permission) staying overnight in his room or the ranch. Jackson described it as innocent, recreating the childhood he missed due to touring from age 5. He was acquitted of all charges in the 2005 trial; critics focus on this without noting the lack of conclusive evidence or the presence of families.
“He turned himself white” (or “He bleached his skin / hated being Black”)
Stems from his changing appearance. Jackson had vitiligo (confirmed by autopsy and doctors), an autoimmune disease causing loss of skin pigment, plus lupus. He used makeup and creams to even out patches. This is twisted into self-hatred, despite his lifelong celebration of Black music, artists, and culture.
“I think he was gay” (or trans, in denial, etc.)
Based on his soft voice, androgynous style, dance, and high vocal range. He was married twice to women (Lisa Marie Presley and Debbie Rowe), had three biological children, and denied being gay. Often reflects discomfort with non-traditional masculinity rather than evidence.
“He was a pedophile / child molester” (treating allegations as proven guilt)
Refers to accusations, most notably from the 1993 and 2005 cases. Jackson was never convicted; acquitted on all counts in 2005. Many accusers had financial motives or inconsistencies. This saying treats unproven allegations (and settled civil suits) as automatic fact.
“He had too many plastic surgeries” (framed as total freak show)
Jackson did have multiple procedures, starting after a broken nose from dancing. Later ones were exaggerated by media. Common in celebrities, but portrayed as obsessive self-destruction rather than response to vitiligo, injuries, and industry pressure.
**“His later music was trash” (post-**Thriller decline narrative)
Dismisses albums like Dangerous, HIStory, Blood on the Dance Floor, and Invincible. While not matching Thriller’s sales, many tracks remain popular and influential; this view often comes from people who stopped listening after the 1980s.
“He dangled his baby off the balcony” (one incident defining him as crazy)
Refers to a 2002 moment in Berlin where Jackson briefly held infant Blanket over a balcony railing to show him to fans. Widely condemned as reckless, but defenders call it a single clumsy mistake by an isolated, overwhelmed father under constant media scrutiny.
“His kids aren’t really his / don’t look like him”
Claims about Prince, Paris, and Blanket (Bigi) involving surrogacy or non-paternity. Debbie Rowe is the mother of the first two; Jackson had full custody. Paris and Prince have spoken publicly affirming he is their father; speculation persists due to skin tones and tabloid rumors.
“He was a freak / alien / Illuminati victim” (pure tabloid nonsense)
Extreme conspiracy versions of his eccentricity, calling him not human, part of secret societies, or replaced by a clone. Fueled by 24/7 tabloid coverage that Jackson himself said distorted his image for sales.
“He never grew up / was Peter Pan syndrome”
Jackson openly identified with Peter Pan and built Neverland as a place for fun he missed as a child star. Critics use it to paint him as immature or unfit; supporters see it as understandable trauma response from missing a normal childhood.
“Everything was fake / staged for attention”
Idea that his whole persona, health issues, and humanitarian efforts were PR stunts. Dismisses genuine elements like his record-breaking charity work, while ignoring how the media amplified and fabricated stories about him for decades.
In case you didn’t know, “Wacko Jacko” is widely considered a slur and is basically a racial term, no, it IS a racial term.
Michael: “You should not say he’s ‘Jacko’. I’m not a Jacko. I’m Jackson… I have a heart. I have feelings. I feel that when you do that to me. It’s not nice… I’m not a wacko.”
This speaks volumes of how people were back then. Disgusting, racist, and quick to believe that a black pop star is an abuser when the alleged “abuser” is being abused. Makes no sense at all. Contradicting themselves.
I know it’s repetitive to post and I know I’m gonna get flamed beca some of you are kinda sensitive, but I’m asking you all to share your perspectives and thoughtful criticisms and thoughts. For me I try not to be biased because, of course, I’m a Moonwalker. I only have, like, several goods and Bad (shamone)
Positives:
Recreating the classics - I love how it puts light on MJ’s and Jaf’s resemblance.
Love the serious, dramatic style at the start of the film. Joe had me scared for my life when I heard that belt on the big screens 😭
I love the acting in the early years! The critics who say there isn’t any drama are not justifiable.
I love when they played the “niche”, deep cut songs like “Think Happy” and “Dreamer” as the transitional songs. It shows me that they know their stuff, and that made me happy that people know his less known music with The Jacksons.
Negatives:
Common one: Pacing is a bit fast.
Uncommon one: I feel like it doesn’t have that proper transition into the classics we all know and love. For example when Off The Wall came out with Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough. It went like:
See? Go back to the part where he releases it and then apply my words to it and you’ll see that. It would’ve been nice if I saw that build up from Michael make the song + Michael is probably worried that it won’t make it big + people recognize he’s from the Jacksons (5) + Michael looks on his status report + discovers it’s hot = gets on the ladies’ good side (lol)
Now that sounds better!
Small ones: It would’ve been cool to see Marlon do a dance off with Michael and play around on stage since he’s the “Dancingest Jackson”.
Billie Jean felt so fast paced like I said about Off The Wall. Let it have that smooth transition.
Motown 25: Really wished that at least had some scenes where they were doing the Jacksons and then to the infamous Billie Jean performance.
Bad Era is so cool, but again, Fast paced.
I don’t really know how they’re gonna make a “Jackson” or “Michael 2” or whatever they name it, but it’s gonna have to be something involving the controversial allegations drama.
I don’t want to be a let down but a biopic is supposed to be a biography of Michael’s entire life. I know the problems with that, but I honestly do agree with the sanitization of the film. Of course you would argue that you want to see the artistry of Michael’s work. However, many others want see a biopic of the ups and downs of his amazing artistry. What he was limited to by Motown, by his father, his work being blocked, his creativity being judged.
But hey, I just loved that the film was a true work of art and I enjoyed the experience.
Give me your critiques or praises or you can somewhat, undebatingly, debate why mine are kinda right or wrong. Thank you and comment if you can!
Moonwalker for all time,
Michaelized
For me:
Michael will ALWAYS be number 1
His voice sounds like it SHOULDN’T be a thing, that proves of his uniqueness.
The Michael movie was a clear example of that because it still has that quality and “jump” to make even new generations hyped. And this was made in the 70’s and 80’s!!
Statistically:
Michael Jackson went from 40 million monthly listeners in 2024 to 96.6 million monthly listeners recently. That’s from the mid top 20# to number 8# in under 3 years!
The movie boosted his career from the dead. It really resurrected him!
Do you know the recent Drake album ICEMAN?
He uses his glove in his album as a sign of dominance and commercial success, which, in my opinion, isn’t the case for him. But do you see how he uses it to try and represent himself? That proves his reputation and success.
What else do you want to add? Or do you want to offer a different perspective?
