Customer worried he forgot to tip, so he mails $50 to the restaurant: "This letter made our whole week"

Roberto José Andrade, from Texas, wasn't sure if he left a tip at a Los Angeles restaurant. So he mailed $50 in cash along with a letter.

Tony Kurzweil (KTLA 5 News) reports:

>“So he wrote to us, from El Paso, and mailed $50 in an envelope, along with every detail he could recall about the booth he sat in and the morning he came, all so we could track down his server,” the restaurant wrote. “We found her. She got it. And she was floored.”

Community rallies to help struggling doughnut shop: "There's a lot of selfless people out there, a lot of generous people"

Arizona doughnut shop owner Daniel Tes asked people on social media to help his struggling small business. Help came.

Annalisa Pardo reports:

>"I kind of had to humble myself and ask for help from the community, ask for help from God," Tes said.

And the community showed up, packing the place the next day. Other small businesses even pre-paid for unassuming customers.

"There's a lot of selfless people out there, a lot of generous people," Tes said.

In the Falklands War, why didn't the British demand that the Argentine government officially renounce its territorial claim as a condition for ending the war?

My understanding is that the British won the war quickly and decisively.

I only hear negative experiences with dating apps. What kind of person would actually benefit from using apps?

When I first heard of dating apps and websites in the 2010s, I heard a somewhat even mix of successes and failures. But now in the 2020s, the overwhelming majority of opinions seem negative, often outright terrible and depressing.

I've never used a dating app. But I want to know if I should start despite all the bad news.

Westerners easily accept that native Chinese names have the family name go first, such as the names Xi Jinping or Yao Ming. But for Japanese names, it's automatically the Western name format, such as Sanae Takaichi rather than Takaichi Sanae. Why is that?
