My first single speed build - a gift for my brother

Had a great time building this! I’m lucky to have access to have access to a lot of old frames and used parts for really cheap. My brother had been asking me to build him a fixie, but he hasn’t ridden a bike in years, so he’s getting a single speed instead 😂. I knew this was the perfect bike when I saw it come in, all together it cost about 130$ to build. Makes me want to build myself a single speed!

Clearance is just a suggestion...

Been sending it on some XC trails lately! I love 26ers, but 27.5 has its perks too.

Vintage Hoover Spirit Replacement Parts?

Hey everyone. I just picked up this Hoover Spirit for 15$. It turns on and has good suction at the end of the hose, but as you can see the end of the hose is a bit chewed up and the wand is no longer attached. I tried super gluing the wand to the hose, but it seems a lot of suction is escaping. I took it to my local vacuum repair store and they told me they don’t make parts for this anymore. I believe someone posted about this same vacuum before here, and someone said there are parts that will fit it. Just looking for the specific part I need to get the wand back on/replace the hose! Thanks for any help!

Need Recommendations for Portable/Window Units

Hi everyone. My grandmother's central AC broke, and we don't have the money to get it repaired. I don't know really anything about AC units, and I need to get her one that can cool a 650 sq ft house that has three rooms. Our budget is probably <700$. It seems like the consensus is portable units suck, and to get a window unit from other threads. I've seem recommendations for Midea and LG, but want to be sure I'm not getting her a piece of garbage.

My Girlfriend’s Dad’s Build

Sick Fuji 90s road bike. Kept this one pretty much original besides putting on some vintage 105 brakes. Anyone else have major trouble getting modern tires to seat on older rims? I’ve had this issue with at least three bikes now.
