Hit my million meters with a solid 10km row

I primarily run, but row for my cross train days and winters. It took a long time and a lot of inconsistency over the years, but man I love this machine!!! Getting more consistent lately understanding the need for cross training.

I have been using the app for about 3 weeks. I have read tons of previous posts and am still confused. The app tells me to aim for xx-xx strain for the day. What does this mean? How do I know what percentage a workout will use? How do I aim for a percentage? Is it length of workout?, intensity? I’m not sure how to aim for a percentage. It feels more natural to aim for a 30 minute slow run or a 45 minute hard run, rather than a percentage. How do you interpret the strain and do you manage to land it fairly well?
