Hello. Just watching what you guys doing here.
I am the Founder of Corex Team (corexteam.org)
Projects I created:
My website itself was a Project,
Brusher (GitHub.com/The-Corex-Team/Brusher) (check on Releases. Windows and Linux supported X11).
I am also very experienced Linux user and like Shooter games like Counter Strike 1.6, Quake, ULTRAKILL and Battlefield 2 Iran Conflict.
I can fix any problems with IT infrastructure (PC's, Phones, Printers).
That's everything I can tell about me.
I am 17
Hello everyone,
For the past few months I've been working on Brusher, an open-source digital painting application written in modern C++ and Qt.
The goal is to build a fast, native desktop application with a clean architecture and cross-platform support.
Some areas I'm currently working on include:
- Canvas rendering
- Brush engine design
- Tool system architecture
- Qt-based UI development
- Cross-platform packaging
I'd be interested in feedback from experienced C++ developers:
- What design patterns have worked well for graphics applications?
- Are there libraries or techniques you would recommend for rendering performance?
- What are common mistakes to avoid when building larger Qt applications?
If anyone has experience with graphics software, Qt, or modern C++ architecture, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!
We are Corex Team, and we'd like to introduce Brusher, an open-source image editor currently in active development.
Brusher is written in C++ and Qt6 and focuses on providing a fast, lightweight, and modern editing experience while remaining accessible to users on older and lower-end hardware.
✅ Drawing and brush tools
✅ Color picker with RGB and HEX support
✅ Layer system
✅ Move, selection, shape, text, fill, and eyedropper tools
✅ Custom dark user interface
✅ Native desktop application (not Electron)
✅ Zoom controls
✅ Project saving and loading
✅ Custom open-source project format (.brusher) for preserving editable projects
✅ Windows support (Linux support planned/improving)
On Windows, Brusher currently uses approximately 140 MB RAM while idle, making it significantly lighter than many modern creative applications.
Brusher is still in the Alpha stage.
Some features are incomplete and bugs are expected. For example:
Many modern creative applications have become increasingly resource-intensive. We want to explore a different path: software that is fast, efficient, and enjoyable to use while remaining powerful enough for everyday creative work.
You can download Brusher from GitHub, test it yourself, report issues, suggest features, or contribute to the project.
If you like the project, please consider giving the repository a ⭐ star. It helps motivate the team and supports future development.
We would love to hear your feedback and feature suggestions.

The latest OS version has broken even their own app. yep, I can't even open Microsoft store now. all i have to say is serve them right because this force app update they did in microsoft store sucks😂
Anyways, yes, I know you're wondering, who the f uses Microsoft store. well guys, I had a problem. Xbox game bar is the one app I use that's basically from that store. so I win+g, not working. Tried opening manually, not working(gave me same response as in the video). So I did what anyone would do, go to Microsoft store and update this damn app but because Microsoft is microslop and they like hiding stuff from us, I'm not seeing any pending updates. alright, I'll just click update all and I'll cancel all downloads, Xbox game bar appears as an available download now. okay it downloads, and tried to install, and well, an error occurred. it's unable to install, tried 5 times still unable to install. Alright, I give up, lemme just update Microsoft store maybe it's the issue. and ofcourse it'll have to kick me out just to be able to update their own sloppy app. haaaaa, guess what, I can no longer open the app. same vibes as Xbox game bar. nothing is saving it.
I'm sure you're gonna say, why not just reset both apps. uuuuhhh, they broke their own app. like not even resetting helps. Xbox game bar just says something went wrong when trying to reset it. Microsoft store settings just keeps on loading forever like it's stuck between which two versions should I show. and even if you do wsreset or whatever the run command is, it gives an error as well. I'm just laughing and smiling now(well, while I can)
I'm just wondering who has this wonderful problem too, but then again this is a F MicroSlop subreddit or whatever so I wouldn't be surprised if everyone is on Linux here😂
Welcome to this subreddit about that Linux does not sucks at all. We will discuss and prove otherwise without getting banned by moderators from r/linuxsucks and r/linuxsucks101.

You are all free to create post and Discuss Topics and whatsoever.

I created this subreddit because those two are Posting Propaganda information about Linux without having any knowledge of what Linux actually is. If we try to open peoples mind, we are getting banned because moderators are also non-normal persons.

Feel free to Post
:)
I know you might now blame me for posting how good it is because this subreddit shows otherwise but in this Post I will explain why do I personally like Linux.

Many from you dear people do not recognize it but Linux itself holds a big Power and responsibility. Every Company in the World such as Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, Amazon and many others have Servers with Linux inside them (Mostly RHEL, Ubuntu Server and Debian) in the meanwhile when FreeBSD and OPNsense are responsible for running Firewalls around the world.
MacOS is itself built as a UNIX like Operating System using FreeBSD's Security Features.

As I was 14, my Father brought a Laptop. It was very slow:
2 cores Intel Pentium.
4gb RAM,
Intel pre built GPU (many also call it Intel HD)
And Windows 8.

This Laptop was slow as Hell. I had to wait until 5 literally minutes to open a Folder in explorer.exe and suffer while trying to use it. My Father installed Ubuntu 20 and this holy Crap stopped until I realized "What is that?". He told me "This is Linux. Just use it". I used it in a while and tried to install a browser, felt like hacker while installing Google Chrome via "sudo apt install ./google-chrome-stable.deb" and many other stuff. I'd did indeed felt differently. I learned everything about Linux by myself and I must say that "Linux brought me the Future I wasn't even dreaming of". I have became someone important in my life. I started installing Linux on my PC. I was searching for internship IT Assistant. Many Companies didn't believed that I had knowledge but one Consulting Company took me just for School internship. I fixed Servers, used Proxmox, NFS on Linux and Owncloud to Nextcloud migration (due to old version of Owncloud). I even wrote a tutorial how to do it without losing user Data. This tutorial was even hard for Nextcloud themselves to write. After a Internship they told me that they want me as Apprenticeship in their Company because I have a Big knowledge in Linux. And so they took me. I also finished the "Linux Essentials" by Cisco Networking Academy.

Linux changed my Life a lot as much as I am going to Change many others. I built my own Website called: https://corexteam.org and I am developing Apps for every OS to help people with their Problems.
Linux users telling: Linux doesn't work because I don't know what shit happens.
Meanwhile Windows:
