Hey everyone, I'm trying to improve the state of online music collab. I made a site called collectiv.fm specifically for music collab. Someone posts a song (or part of a song) with description of what they need; others add their contributions. Best ones get upvoted to top. You can do public or private session, including invite-only sessions if you want.

It's in beta right now, so it needs some work. Looking for REAL & COMMITTED musicians to test the user experience and see what works/doesn't work so I can build a better platform. Too many people say they're going to collab and never do it. So I need REAL collaborators to help me build a legit platform.

I imagine a good flow would be:

• Original Poster posts a song or part of song explaining they need vocals, guitar, solo, bass, female vocals on bridge, etc.
• Interested people add their contributions
• Link could be shared for reach
• Best collabs get upvoted to top
• Original Poster selects the person whose collab is best
• A new song is born

Looking for bass on a song I wrote. It was originally for a class project, but I'd like to complete it once and for all--bass is all that's missing.

Wanting the bass to sound a bit bouncy like the song "Soon" from My Bloody Valentine.
