[Superposition Lab] Get paid $20/hour to record yourself playing PC games I completed 2 hours and received $40 via Wise

I’ve now completed this myself and can confirm that Superposition Lab paid me $40 USD through Wise after I completed 2 hours of gameplay recording. I converted it to roughly £30 GBP.

The work is pretty straightforward if you already play games on PC.

You install their GamePlay Lab recording software, play an eligible Windows PC game, and talk while you’re playing. The recorder captures your gameplay, microphone, and synchronized keyboard/mouse inputs for AI research.

What you actually do

You record gameplay sessions while talking naturally about the game.

Their latest narration requirements focus more on things like:

- whether you’re enjoying the game

- what you think is good or bad about it

- your opinions on mechanics/features

- tips or strategies for other players

- things you think could be improved

So it’s closer to casual streamer/YouTube commentary than constantly saying exactly what button you’re pressing.

I’ve personally been using games such as Supermarket Simulator on Roblox, and my submissions from it have been getting 5/5 ratings.

Pay

$20 USD/hour

My initial assignment allowed me to complete 2 hours, so I earned:

$40 USD → paid through Wise → approximately £30 after conversion

I can personally confirm that I received the payment.

They may offer additional work to people who submit good-quality recordings, although additional work isn’t guaranteed.

Requirements

You’ll need:

- Windows PC

- microphone/headset

- OBS Studio and their GamePlay Lab recorder

- an eligible PC game

- the game itself set to English

They don't want very fast-paced genres such as FPS, racing, fighting or sports games because it makes detailed commentary difficult.

There’s also a short test recording when you first join so they can check your recording setup and narration quality.

Disclosure: I receive a referral incentive if you join through my referral link and meet the referral requirements. You’re completely free to use the non-referral link instead.

I obviously can’t guarantee how much work everyone will receive or whether everyone will be accepted, but I wanted to post this now that I’ve actually completed my first assignment and confirmed the Wise payout myself.

Happy to answer questions about the recording process, narration, games I’ve used, or how long payment took.

One UI 8.5 on the Galaxy S20 FE 👀 First Beta Coming Soon

Just a quick teaser of something I’ve been working on for the S20 FE community.

I’ve been building a One UI 8.5 port for the Galaxy S20 FE, based on the Galaxy S23 FE One UI 8.5 firmware, while adapting it specifically for the S20 FE hardware.

It’s already reached the point where I can finally start showing it off, so I’ve put together a quick showcase video. 👀

There are still a few bugs and things I want polished before putting it into people’s hands, but development is moving along really well.

Current goal

📱 One UI 8.5 / Android 16

⚡ S23 FE-based

🔧 Built specifically for the S20 FE

✨ Samsung 8.5 features + additional ROM improvements

🚧 Currently in active development

I’m aiming to release the first public beta sometime next month no exact ETA if everything continues going well.

For a phone released back in 2020, I think the S20 FE still has a lot of life left in it and the goal is to keep pushing it as far as we can.

More soon 👀

Working on a small GUI tool to decrypt dumped Wii U NUS files for Cemu

Hey everyone,

Currently putting together a little tool for decrypting your own dumped Wii U content (updates, DLC, eShop titles — the `.app`/`.h3`/`tmd` format) for use with Cemu. Mainly building this because I got fed up with two things: how fiddly the whole process is (missing `title.tik` files, renaming `tmd.0`, hand-building tickets), and honestly being pretty wary of downloading random decryption tools/GUIs off the internet given how often stuff in this space gets flagged as malware or turns out to bundle sketchy extras.

What it does so far:

- Generates a fake `title.tik` from your title ID + title key, so you don't have to hand-build one

- Auto-renames `tmd.0` → `title.tmd` if that's how your dump named it

- Calls CDecrypt for you and shows the output live, so you can see whether it actually produced `code`/`content`/`meta` folders or not

What you need to bring yourself:

- Your own dumped title ID + title key for each game/update/DLC (from your own console — this tool doesn't provide or look up keys for you)

- Your own copy of CDecrypt (the tool points at wherever you keep it)

It's just a plain Python script (tkinter GUI) for now, on purpose — so anyone using it can actually read what it does line by line instead of just trusting a compiled `.exe` from a stranger. I'll probably package it with PyInstaller eventually for people who want a single clickable file, but wanted to get feedback on the approach first.

Still rough around the edges, so happy to hear if anyone's hit similar headaches with this process or has suggestions before I polish it further.
