Context : I am an artist who would like to put up some paintings for sale via an online art store. I understand shopify is supposed to be most user friendly in curating a custom look, but since I am just starting out, I would like to evaluate things for a bit.

Instamojo has been suggested as its cheaper to host there (It has a free plan I think without subscription fees , I don’t know how unfavourably (in terms of features) instamojo compares to most shopify plans).
Amazon smart biz is another option however it mentions the subscription and other fees will be applicable from Dec.
Any other storefront/ any other avenue to reach customers (pls don’t say ‘just Instagram’ - the algorithm doesn’t like me too much)

It would be so so great if the community weighs in, considering logistics, fees and UI (& any other factors you deem important for a small online business)?
What were some other factors you considered or wished you considered while launching an online store?

For people using Shopify, any pointers during set up, (specifically policies and terms of service etc, go with the templates?) Also, how do y’all handle shipping? Asking for a small artist IG linked shopfront
