RingConn Gen3 Vibration
Today I became the proud owner of a 3rd generation ring. Until today, I had been using the 2nd generation ring.
I’ve watched dozens of reviews of the 3rd generation ring. Almost all reviewers highlighted vibration notifications as the killer feature. It’s a revolution in the world of smart rings. This has never been done before, but everyone was waiting for it, and now it’s finally here! Now, if you’ve never owned a smart ring, you absolutely have to try this one. For the history books, the Gen3’s release date will be more significant than the launch of the first iPhone. But not a single reviewer showed exactly which notifications they had customized for their needs.
I imagined it would work something like this: a “Ring Vibration” option would be added to the system notifications, with settings for individual vibration patterns for each type of notification.
But after buying it, I now realize that was a scam. Not just a scam, but outright fraud. The ring won’t notify you of anything, and it seems like no one is going to fix this.
The developers justify their laziness in making the software user-friendly by claiming that this extends the battery life. Total nonsense! A typical gamer’s smartphone can run on a single battery charge for a week, but no gamer would complain that the battery only lasts for 3 hours of PUBG. Try explaining to a gamer why they have to keep losing just to get an extra hour of gameplay.
I have two power banks to keep my smartphone charged at all times. The first power bank charges while the second one is discharging. Why can't we do the same thing with rings? It's so easy to put one ring on to charge and then wear the ring you take off the charger.
