I'm planning to major in supply chain and one of my personal statement essay idea is to explore how organizations balance standardization with individual accommodation. I frequently dye my hair to colors which are considered rebellious/alternative and eventually ran into several bureaucratic problems. Additionally I am an interpreter for factories/suppliers/wholesalers so I do have the observations to back my points up when it comes to businesses tailoring to different stakeholders. My guts are telling me that that hair color is not really a compelling hook. What do you guys think?

I do have a few more topics, this one just seems to convey myself the best even though it’s not my most interesting one.

Applying for a high school study permit through an immigration lawyer, she said that theres a high chance my permit might be rejected because I have bleached blonde hair and pink/blue streaks. If someone could tell me this is true it would be much appreciated.

First time hearing of this and im genuinely baffled. My interview is at noon tomorrow and its already nighttime I’ll have to leave the house asap if this is true. I had friends who went to the US for hs perfectly fine with platinum blonde hair. Is it different for Canada?
