A Costco-sized tub of meh tasting cottage cheese.

Made a mistake. Bought cottage cheese from Costco (a business center at that, so I think even bigger than normal), but it's Daisy brand. I like their sour cream, so I thought I'd like this, but it's sour in a way I don't like.

It's not spoiled. It's not rotten. It's not moldy. It's just tangy/sour in a meh way. (I live in the Midwest US and usually eat Kemp's brand cottage cheese in case that comparison helps.)

I know cottage cheese is a hot thing right now because everyone is obsessed with protein, but I usually just eat this straight. What can I mix this into to use it up? I have a deep freeze, so anything that freezes well would be great too.

I've already made 16 servings of lasagna (I did 50/50 cottage cheese and a rather sweet ricotta I like).

Korean snail (?) snack eaten by kids and hikers?

I'm trying to remember a snack I saw when I lived in Korea about twenty years ago. It was often sold near bondaegi.

I saw it most often at the top of mountains after hikes (made by little businesses in the mountains) or at taekwondo tournaments in Seoul. They're little white/grey snails (?) or conch shells or something like that. The snails were cooked (?) in a huge bowl and scooped out by the spoonful. Then the people eating it would suck the meat out and either toss the shells to the side or drop them into an empty bottle of Pocari Sweat.

I never tasted it, so I don't know what it tasted like.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about, what this is called, and how it's made?

Radiation mark removal with post breast cancer lymphedema?

Hello. I did read the FAQ and I also searched the sub for "lymphedema" and "radiation," but I didn't find any answers. I've also tried Googling, but I'm not finding any real information.

I'm a breast cancer survivor and I got my radiation dots in fall of 2021.

I don't mind the dots in my armpit area, because I can't really see them and they're tiny. I HATE the two dots on my sternum. They look like Sharpie marks. One started spreading almost immediately. Ugh. I don't mind tattoos (I have two that I chose), but I mind these tattoos.

I also developed lymphedema on my right breast and right arm due to the radiation. My lymphedema is well managed with compression sleeves and a lymphatic pump. (In the past three years, I've generally only visited my specialist once every eight months or so for a casual check in. Any flares I've had have been very minor and short lived. I did a 16 hour international flight with a massage before I left and one after I got back, and didn't have any flare ups! My specialist was thrilled.)

Does anyone have any information about tattoo removal WITH lymphedema?

Yes, I'll talk to my specialist, but I can't see her until late July and I see my oncologist next week. If it's not even worth asking about, I don't want to.

(Sorry for so much info--just trying to be helpful.)

Hello. I am an artist creating a woven piece of work using fiber and photos.

I'm mixing animal fibers (wool, camel, silk, etc), cotton, polyester (nylon), unknown fibers, and traditional silver gelatin prints (fiber based photos, toned with selenium and polysulfide) together in one piece of art, which I'd like to mount and frame.

I can't figure out if I need to use buffered or unbuffered mount and matting board. The internet is telling me animal stuff needs unbuffered and photos need buffered.

Is there a better choice to make here, or do I just need to get over it and know that eventually something will rot or get stained?
