Do you ever feel this too?

Have you ever randomly dreamed about someone you knew as a kid—like an old classmate—and then ended up looking them up on social media then get with this unfamiliar feeling.

It's a strange feeling. I wasn't even close to this person, but seeing how their life turned out made me feel curious and oddly lonely at the same time. Not exactly nostalgia, but something similar. It's like imagining all the years that passed, wondering what they've been doing, and then suddenly being hit by this weird sense of distance and loneliness.

I can't really explain it. It's not that I miss them specifically. It's more the realization that someone who was once a small part of your life is now living a completely different one.

UPDATE with kitten's eye infection

The first photo was taken 4 days ago, right after I posted a picture of the kitten’s eyes. At first, I thought it wasn’t anything serious, but I’m really thankful for the people in the comments who encouraged me to get them checked. We were able to take the kittens to the vet, and they were prescribed medication. Thankfully, it was only a mild infection, and after just 2 days of treatment, this is what their eyes look like now.

Also, it was our first time taking care of cats so I understand why some might've hated me for not pressing the urgency sooner.

Both my kittens who are almost 5 weeks old always have this crust on their eyes. I searched it up and found out it was normal for kittens, but whenever I clean it up I notice a light yellowish pus coming out of their eyes. Also, their eyes would look red and teary. Their pupils don't look aligned as well. What do I do?

We don’t usually adopt cats, but my parents are very compassionate toward animals. Since we own a store, many stray cats come by for food. One regular stray gave birth, so we decided to take care of the kittens, while the mother cat still visits us from time to time. Both my parents aren't planning to go to the vet because in our area, there isn't any good vet around.
