My life is being ripped away

For almost three months, I've been living with status vestibular migraine, with constant daily symptoms and very little relief.
Symptoms:
Constant brain fog and feeling “spaced out”
Persistent head pressure and tension-type headache
Dizziness and imbalance
Visual disturbances
Difficulty concentrating

Fatigue and feeling disconnected from reality
My brain and spine MRI were both clear. A 5-day course of prednisolone gave a temporary improvement of around 20%, but symptoms returned soon after finishing it.
I’m currently on 50 mg of amitriptyline, which I’ve been taking for the past 3½ weeks, after starting at 10 mg and gradually increasing the dose.
The symptoms started suddenly one afternoon without warning, and doctors have suggested it may be related to stress. I don’t feel this fully explains it, as there was no obvious period of significant stress at the time, including starting a new corporate job. I’ve also raised the possibility that symptoms may have been triggered by headaches after gym sessions, but this has been considered unlikely by clinicians.
At this point, I’m barely able to leave the house and have essentially lost my new corporate job due to my condition. I’m finding things very difficult right now and would really appreciate any advice or insights from others who may have experienced something similar

Constant VM for over 2 months - what do I do ?

Hi guys,
I was recently diagnosed with VM, as having constant 24/7 headaches and other VM symptoms for 2 months. MRI AND CT SCAN was clear and therefore the neurologist suggested I was suffering VM. I have been on 20 mg of amitriptyline and recently started on 5 days of steroids (prednisolone). Since I’ve been on the steroids I have felt 20% better, however since off them feel going backwards again. I’ve been on amitriptyline for almost 3 weeks now. I have essentially lost my job and haven’t really been able to go out of the house. What have you guys done to be functional.

24/7 headaches ongoing for months - desperate and need advice

I need some advice and some help. I cannot figure what to do. I have been suffering constant headaches that are 24/7 from the moment I wake up to the moment I sleep. It’s destroying my quality of life, my work in fact close to quitting and honestly feeling suicidal. I get times where my eyes are unfocused and feelings of weakness where I feel like I cannot walk. I’ve got a constant tension headache and stabbing pain on top of back of my head. What should I do and can anyone give me advice. I have been taking migraine meds but however they don’t do much

2 months persistent headache

Hi guys over the past 2 months I have been experiencing constant 24/7 headaches. Most of time they are mild such as tension headache and brain fogs. but 2/3 times a week they cause me to have loss of co-ordination and unfocused vision. For example walking feels so weird and makes me feel like I’ll faint. Is this possibly symptoms of migraines. I’ve occasionally had tingly sensation on side of my head as well. It’s quite debilitating and effecting my daily wellbeing + work is on to me due taking time off. Not sure what to do I have been going to doctor weekly now using a lot of funds to just see them. It they keep prescribing me medicine and taking meds such as rizatriptan and sinus meds but still nothing alleviates the following. I am feeling desperate what should I do or does anyone have any similar stories. I did get an CT scan earlier today as I had to push my doc.

Brief overview of Financial crime pathway

For those who work in FINCRIME what has been your pathway. For example those tenured within the industry what are you doing now, is there a lot of opportunities for high paying senior roles and how did you get there. Also for some inspiration let me know where you started wether it was a contact centre or an entry level analyst role
