New to trt

Hi all. I was just prescribed testosterone cyprionate 5mg/week and progesterone.

I haven't started yet but am slightly nervous about it for some reason.

Reading up around here it seems like many women are on a much higher dose so that is reassuring

Red flag?

I apologize in advance, this may be a bit long...

I'm 46f, my husband who I had been with just about 32 years I believe died in April. It's still been a whirlwind but I have been thinking about so many things.

My dad died when he was 61. My mom was in her mid-fifties at the time.

She was always very introverted and had a lot social anxiety. She never dated once or even had a friend after he died. She was alone the rest of her life until she passed away from cancer at 72.

I always tried to talk her into getting back out there. I knew she didn't prefer being alone but it was too much out of her comfort zone for her.

So I always told myself that would never be me....never expected I myself would be widowed at a younger age than her.

I'm not really ready yet, but I browse through a couple of apps.

My husband was friends with my brother, that's how we met. We had our 1st kiss on a bench in front of the movie theater when I was 15.

While I was browsing single men, I found most were either divorced or never married.

The never married ones interested me. That's what I was asking about being a possible red flag.

How could a 45-55 year old man be single and never married? Sounds like a looooong time to be a bachelor. That concerns me for some reason especially since I have 3 kids.

Thoughts?

Babysitter?

I'm 46, my husband died in April at 48.

We have 3 boys, 15, 12 and 8. About a year before he died we moved from the area we had been living about 200 mi north.

Our boys are all on the autism spectrum. The 2 younger ones are high functioning but our 15 year old isn't. He needs adult supervision 24/7.

If I am ever going to leave the house again I really need to find someone trustworthy I can call to watch them.

Preferably someone very responsible and even better if they know/understand ASD.

They aren't difficult or anything for the most part but it is life or death importance that they door's are kept locked at all times because my eldest is always watching and tries to get out and go for a walkabout. Gives me a heart attack every time.

Any suggestions? Not super interested in dating or anything but I certainly don't want to be alone forever either.

I don't know how many men would understand that I'm only available Monday through Friday 9am-2pm

Survivors benefits

It really sucks having to worry about money at a time like this.

I read about survivors benefits online. I had to make an appointment and I have another telephone appointment scheduled soon.

We have 3 boys under 18. If you receive them, if you don't mind could you give me an idea how much and when it should start?

I appreciate it, I'm a worrywart
