I got these a few years ago for a gift and haven't used them yet since I want more information on them, does anyone have any resources or tips on using these dices

Found one of my dream cookbooks for my collection for $65 and its in better shape than I thought it was, the spine is still in tact and almost like new

I bought it last week and just arrived today. I shared it to a Facebook group excited and a few people messaged me yelling at me how it was a terrible buy and it has closed practices in it and I should be ashamed. I know some spells are closed and I won't be using them but I thought spells are opened to edits and to make your own and this is a good reference
