Hey fellow gamers,

I bought a PS5 around 2 weeks ago because I finally wanted to enjoy all the games I had been missing out on for years. I had been saving up for a long time, and the whole setup ended up costing me around 62k with two controllers. Since the PS5 can’t really handle sudden power cuts well, I even had to buy a UPS on top of that.

And now, right after all this, Sony decides to hike subscription prices like their games are being shipped through the Strait of Hormuz 😭. The monthly subscription cost has gone up to almost 1000, which honestly feels pretty hard to justify.

I completely understand why many people are thinking of cancelling their subscriptions, but I’m in a weird spot. I’ve barely experienced PS5 gaming till now, and I genuinely want to try multiple games and fully enjoy the console. Buying discs individually also feels super expensive, especially for the games I already have installed.

So now I’m honestly confused about what to do. I’m hoping the Days of Play brings some decent discounts on PS Plus subscriptions because otherwise it’s becoming really difficult to justify the cost.

What are you guys planning to do? Continue the subscription, wait for discounts or cancel it?

Need your help in deciding which PS5 disc to buy, I have recently bought the disc version of PS5 but have not put a disc in that yet, just playing games available on ps5 extra.. I want a game that is really useful and worth the price later as well, so what game I should go for my first disc..please do not recommend rdr2, gta 5 etc as they are already available on ps5 store.. Thanks for your help in advance!!
