Sewing/craft fabric.

This was in Washington but still thought it worth posting.

I visited Fabrique store today in Washington and was gutted to hear they’re closing due to lack of sales and interest. We are running out of fabric stores and places to buy material in the NE :-( the owner Ray couldn’t have been nicer. He has 15% off at the minute and still has a lot left in so it’s definitely worth a visit.

If anyone else has anywhere to recommend other than Imannuel Fabrics who come up to shields market on a weekend, please let me know! Those guys are INCREDIBLE.

Foster fail - guilt

Hi everyone. These are our 10th kittens and we’ve decided to foster fail them. We weren’t supposed to have them as these are were for short term due to us having a holiday booked but they have chosen my husband for sure and stolen both of our hearts. I rang the charity to see if it was an option as I know some charities don’t allow it but they were happy for us to adopt. We did ask if there was a greater need for us to continue fostering or if they had someone lined up for them, we would understand. They did say they had a soft match for one of the kittens but because we would be adopting them both, that would be better. I am so so happy they’re going to be our forever babies, but I didn’t expect to feel this guilty. Is this normal? Has anyone else felt this before? I know they love us and I know they’re happy.

Forgot how tiring this is!

Hi all! I fostered last year and took a break to moving countries. I restarted fostering again before I move home as I was hoping to adopt then and man I forgot how tiring it is! These two are pretty angelic most of the time 6w old ferals who are doing very well but I feel all I do is scoop poop, hand feed wet food, tidy their crate and talk about all of the above to my partner all of the time 😂 I don’t know people cope with new born babies cause man am I pooped 😂😂

It’s due to this group I’m able to foster again. Last year I had some really hard cases and I found so much support and love from you guys during my middle of the night melt downs and crying and you guys propped me up.
You’re all superhero’s. Well done on all the hard work you’re doing. We see you!

Love me, Olive (bottom) and Jasper (top)

Paused medication due to pregnancy.

I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant (yay!!) but now have to live with not being medicated for 9 months. I’m with care ADHD. I know that this is about ultimately protecting my baby, but I haven’t been without my medication for years. It helps me function and get through daily life. It improves my depression and anxiety. I notice even if I don’t take it once a day. Nine whole months whilst working and studying.
Don’t need advice or any judgment. I feel so sad and feel guilty about being sad.

Hi everyone, booked my test for like a month on my driving instructors suggestion after passing my theory 3 weeks ago. I’ve been learning with them since about October. I’m defo getting more confident. Now I’ve booked the test, the last two lessons I’ve had have been awful. I mean today was BAD. Basic things. Roundabouts became terrible. Im overly cautious and driving super slow. I am a VERY anxious person and very anxious driver but today’s lesson I asked my instructor to drive me home. He was lovely but he couldn’t believe how much the anxiety had got to me.
Any tips tricks or advice? I’ve actually booked in for a hypnotherapy session next week. I’ll take anything atp.

Anyone bought LM weights to body pump at home?

Recently got back in to body pump (yay!) but in a few months I’ll be moving house and therefore gym. A new gym does the classes but doesn’t have the BP bell bar (clip on) and gets hooked up quite a lot. So I was wondering if it might be worth buying some of the LM clip on weights to do at home? Has anyone done this and can tell me their experience? Seems expensive!
Thanks x
