Title: Tinfal 5 vs Folileaf-5 (SayaCare) — same 5% minoxidil, but which vehicle/base is better?

I’m trying to choose between Tinfal 5 Solution and Folileaf-5 Hair Serum (SayaCare).

Both contain 5% minoxidil, so I’m mainly wondering about the vehicle/base and overall formulation, rather than the minoxidil concentration.

From the Tinfal label:

Minoxidil IP — 5% w/v

Ethanol (95% IP) — 40% v/v

Propylene Glycol IP — q.s. to 100%

Tinfal also describes the formulation as having penetration-enhancing properties.

Folileaf-5 also contains 5% minoxidil, but I’m not able to determine the complete vehicle/base composition from the information available to me.

My questions:

Which one has the better vehicle/base for minoxidil absorption and penetration?

Could the vehicle make one of them more effective even though both are 5% minoxidil?

Which is likely to be less irritating/drying, especially when used on the beard/face?

If both are genuine 5% minoxidil products, would you expect any meaningful difference in results or speed of growth?

If you had to choose between these two, which one would you use and why?

Fix My Curls — which of these 4 should I use?

I’m trying to choose between these four Fix My Curls products:

Defining Hair Gel

Curl Quenching Flax Seed Gelly

Curl Quenching Hair Butter

Leave-in Cream

I’m confused about what the actual difference is between them.

Could someone explain:

What does each product do?

Which one is mainly for moisture/hydration?

Which one is best for curl/wave definition?

Which one gives the most hold and frizz control?

Which one is best for dry/frizzy hair?

Which hair type is each one best suited for?

Can they actually help bring out natural waves/curls, or do they mainly define the pattern that is already there?

Can any of these be used together? If so, which combination and in what order?

About my hair:

My hair is dry and frizzy. It’s not straight but also not properly curly — somewhere in between, probably naturally wavy. I want to bring out more of my natural pattern and make it slightly wavy/curly, while reducing dryness and frizz.

Which of these 4 would be the best choice for me? Would I be better off with just one product, or something like a leave-in + gel/gelly?

I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have actually used these products. Thanks!

Should I use Zeelab 5% Minoxidil or Tinfal 5% Solution for beard growth?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 23-year-old male and I'm thinking about starting 5% topical minoxidil to grow a fuller beard.

My beard grows, but it's still patchy and doesn't connect well in some areas , Density is also low. I've attached photos of my beard both untrimmed and freshly trimmed so you can see my current beard growth.

Based on my current beard, do you think minoxidil is worth trying? If yes, which one would you recommend:

1 - Zeelab 5% Minoxidil

2 - Tinfal 5% Solution (pharmacy brand)

Thanks in advance for your advice!

23M hair care query

Is there any solution for my hair?

Whenever I pull out a strand of my hair, it has an "S" shape or sometimes looks like a half "O". After I shower, my hair stays hydrated and soft for about 30 minutes, but then it becomes dry, dehydrated, frizzy, and rough again.

I've tried a lot of things already:

Took Supradyn and Nutrabay Men multivitamins.

Used Sestry Hydrating Shampoo.

Used L'Oréal Hyaluron Moisture conditioner.

I even use an umbrella whenever I go out in the sun.

These helped a little, but the problem is still there.

Am I doing something wrong? Does this look like damaged hair, naturally curly hair that needs different care, protein/moisture imbalance, hard water damage, or something else?

Any advice would be really appreciated.
