This is a picture of the game card reader module. You can see the middle pin is eaten away in the middle
I discovered a few months ago that my Wii U has a Hynix manufactured NAND chip, which is apparently prone to failure. My Wii U has still worked perfectly fine for the past few months, but is it possible to buy a replacement chip and solder it on or something? I am aware of the NAND-AID, but my Wii U is not currently bricked or broken in any way, and I already have had my NAND dumped for a while now. I just wanted to know if it's possible or reasonable to buy a replacement NAND chip to prevent my current one from failing. Production date of the MMC is July 2013
