Has Zep affected your anxiety?

Specifically have you noted a drop in anxiety? I know that there is a wide spectrum of response. And some have the opposite result. But for those of you who have had a reduction in anxiety, what is your experience? I’m noticing lately that things that would normally spin me out, instead I’m just kind of like, “oh well 🤷 “. It’s so weird!!

Week 2. My experience so far.

So I am using the Zepbound Kwikpen to microdose. Historically I have been very sensitive to medications so I felt it important to ramp in and why I am starting low. I have a fair amount of weight to lose so I’m probably not going to stay at a microdose unless I find microdosing is effective for me. The Kwikpen contains 4 doses and you can “count clicks” to customize your dose. Each dose is 60 clicks. (My pen is 2.5 mg- 10 mg for entire pen) First week I started at 15 clicks. Felt absolutely nothing. No hunger suppression, no side effects and gained two pounds :/ So decided to go to 30 clicks for second dose, 1.25 mg which was Sunday. Felt a slight bit of fleeting nausea and headache the next day. Weighed in today and I’m down a pound, so yay? I don’t feel really any hunger suppression though. Kinda disappointed, not gonna lie. I think I will stay on the 30 clicks/1.25 mg for a couple of weeks since I did finally feel something and I know that I’m not at steady state until week 3/4 or so. I really expected to have a big response right off the bat to this med and so far, that hasn’t happened. Just wanted to post to get some feedback and see if anyone else started off like this and then it kicked in after a month or so. And also to highlight the fact that the Zepbound Kwikpen is such a great option if you prefer the branded med over the auto injector or vials. It seems like a lot of people aren’t aware of it. I use it right out of the fridge and even though it’s cold, the needle is so tiny I feel absolutely nothing when I inject into my stomach. Appreciate any feedback or insights.

How bad is your hair loss?

I see quite a few posts/comments of people who are experiencing hair loss. I'm curious how many of you are mostly experiencing increased shed, and a loss of density but others don't really notice. I'm just wondering, first of all, how prevalent is hair loss truly? And if you are losing hair, how bad is it? When did it start? When did it start growing back? or did it grow back? It feels like there is a significant gap between the risk shown in the studies and what I see here and know of folks anecdotally.

Shot every 5 days or increase dose?

I just took my first dose yesterday. I’m using a 2.5 mg Zepbound Kwikpen. I did 15 clicks (around .66-ish mg). I feel nothing. No side effects or hunger suppression so far. I feel like staying at this dose for four weeks may(?)be a waste of time? I’m wondering if I should do my next dose of 15 clicks on day 5 or should I increase my dose to 1 mg on day 7 or should I just stick with the 15 clicks on day 7 and stick with the four weeks on 15 clicks before increasing ?

Whats the lowest amount of clicks for a dose on Kwikpen?

Has anyone ever run into any issues with a very low dose, like 15 clicks on a 2.5 mg pen? I was thinking initially doing 30 clicks but I want to go even lower. Just wondering if anyone has experienced any issues going very low on a kwikpen.

Pedicabs in downtown Victoria

I see that there are pedicabs in the Victoria downtown core that do 1-3 hour tours. Are they also hanging around downtown so you can just use them for quick jaunts between say, a hotel and restaurant?

I know 2.5 mg is the starter dose. But for those of you who tend to have a reactionary system, where did you start off? .5? 1? 1.25?

How did you work into a regular dose with a minimum of side effects?
