"Tuxedo Hill", I LOVE the end scene with Bobby verbally tearing ol' Jack Crawley a new one. And I do like the scene with the dog and the "collar". But...it kinda bores me otherwise...

But the two scenes sort of compensate for it. 😎

A line just came up in "Semi Professional" (RIP, Bruce MacVittie!) that highlighted Deakins versus Ross: Deakins laid into Carver for wanting to kowtow to Blakemore because of his status on the court...

To which Deakins responded, "And he was banging his law clerk. This is a press case. Good cops lose their pensions over press cases!"

Deakins was for his team, and screw the optics. While Ross did have his moments (as much as it pains me to admit...I mean, he did help Bobby get reinstated), he was much more all about the politics with his superiors.

Tomorrow being the 4th of July, I doubt many of us will be around, but since I report CI schedule changes, here you go: CI is listed for TOMORROW, July 4th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. ET, continuing with S1. It will also air...

...very early-morning Sunday, July 5th, from 1:00 a.m. ET until 3:00 a.m. ET and will, of course, have its usual Sunday marathon from 6:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. ET.

But if the weather is too hot or rainy, at least you would have something to watch.

Enjoy - and Happy 4th of July to all Americans here. To our Canadian friends and those from other countries, Happy Saturday!

EDIT: On Charge naturally! Figured I'd add it just in case...

And the verdict for Bare Nectar is... *drumroll*

...a big no from me. *Insert sad trombone here*

I own full-size bottles of original Bare, Bare Rose, and Bare Sueded Vanilla. So, I do really like the line. But something told me to not make the investment straight out this time and buy a spray vial. Glad I did.

I barely get any honey or peach. What I *do* get is a lot of overpowering musk in the dry down. Like, A LOT. So, if anyone enjoys musk, I do think you would love this Bare variant.

Me? I will just stick with my other Bare tried and trues. Can't win 'em all!

I saw this elsewhere, so I can't take credit, but today, June 26th, marks 15 years since Criminal Intent aired its final episode! (I recalled it was June, of course; I just forgot the exact date!) How I wish we could see Bobby and Alex one final time in a new adventure!

Forget where I found this picture, but it's so odd seeing everyone so casual!

Not sure it would be seen in the replies in the other thread, so, a correction: The repeated episodes from S8 shown tomorrow on Charge will be "Folie A Deux" and "Family Values", NOT "All In", along with "Faithfully" and "In Treatment"...

My bad. Enjoy Charge's nonsensical scheduling fun.

Criminal Intent will have a weird schedule the next two nights: Tonight includes the last of S8 and then, S9 with "Loyalty"...

However, on Thursday night on Charge, two of the S8 episodes not shown in sequence this time, "Faithfully" and "In Treatment", will air along with another airing of "Folie A Deux" and "All In", as mentioned the other night. Like I said, weird.
