Reilly O'Reilly is a drunken idiot who becomes a paraplegic after being run over by a drunk driver. After becoming rich in a lawsuit he moves into a mansion in a gated community with his girlfriend and his dysfunctional disabled friends.

Created by John Callahan, a quadriplegic cartoonist who tackles topics of disabilities, addiction, sex, religion, alcoholism, social workers etc. Based on John Callahan's experiences and animated entirely using Flash animation.

First debuted on Teletoon at Night in Canada. Airing on the same Friday night timeslot with Undergrads, The Oblongs, Clone High, and Mission Hill.

Terri Hawkes, the 90s English voice actress for Sailor Moon was the voice of Reilly's girlfriend Franny. Hearing the voice of Sailor Moon make sex noises in different episodes blew my 13 year old boy brain.

Trailer: https://youtu.be/3M8m6GllnG8?si=4VOcaEAbNpv1oXJH

UHF is finally back on Canadian Tubi after being gone for 6 months.

Weird Al plays George Newman, an unemployed slacker who becomes the manager to a failing television station. When the evil corporate owner of Channel 8 decides to ruin him George and his friends create bizarre new shows and commercials for the station to increase viewership.

Written by Weird Al and made with a $5 million budget. Had the unfortunate luck of being released in theatres at the same time as Batman, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Ghostbusters 2 and Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Made only $6 million in theatres making it a bomb.

I first heard about this movie when they made fun of it on the HDTGM podcast. It's a little slow, and boring, and stupid...until the last 20 minutes when it goes full David Cronenberg with the body horror. That scene alone makes me love this movie.

Intro: https://youtu.be/N1j1ely4YoY?si=8fQcgGtE33T3riwu

Vampires, werewolves, cursed objects, mutants, monsters, mad scientists, creepy castles, ghosts with unfinished business, children ignoring warnings, and even ironic punishments.

Produced by the good people at Nelvana and originally airing Saturday Mornings on ABC for 13 episodes. Cancelled due to parent complaints saying the show was too scary for children. In 1999 the show was revived and aired Saturday mornings on CBS for 2 seasons and 26 episodes.

Dancing Ninja (2010) A white orphan boy dreams of becoming a Ninja.

Trailer 1: https://youtu.be/L-p8X219KuU?si=diEZgXoyOTwhmbPo

Trailer 2: https://youtu.be/oZbuM2q3lHo?si=77ZYEKb\_RvEMYc1I

You know what movie desperately needed a sequel? Beverly Hill Ninja.

Starring Lucas Grabeel and David Hasselhoff this martial arts "comedy" follows Ikki, a white orphan boy living somewhere in Asia (just Asia) and raised by ninjas who teach him the forbidden arts of dance fighting. When his ninja master is attacked by a washed up martial arts actor Ikki must travel to Hollywood to seek revenge.

This making of this movie was a total shit show. Originally written as a sequel to Beverly Hills Ninja but due to the death of Chris Farley it was shelved for several years and then dusted off and rewritten. Lucas Grabeel was finished with High School Musical and this was the first role he was offered. The original director was fired and replaced mid-shoot, scenes were repeatedly reshot and rewritten, and they were having major financial problems. Sony was the original movie financer/distributer but Sony executives backed out once they saw how chaotic everything was. Was released in a small handful of movie theaters for one week making $48,000 before disappearing into the direct-to-DVD rack at Blockbuster.

Tuesday Tubi Turd: Dragonball Evolution (2009) The live action movie based on the anime

Trailer: https://youtu.be/T4\_wHfz2qUA?si=S8WIrcrgdvpDUmIW

Goku is a shy American high school student who with the help of Bulma and Master Roshi must collect the 7 mystical Dragon Balls to stop the evil Piccolo from using them to take over the world.

This cinematic masterpiece transforms Akira Toriyama's martial arts fantasy into a WB drama with awkward flirting, discount fight scenes, and a Goku who is more focused on girls than learning how to fight.

20th Century Fox originally wanted a 3 movie Dragonball movie trilogy with the actors even signing a multi-movie contract. The first movie is the origin story, the second movie involving a Saiyan invasion, and the third movie dealing with Frieza.

James Marsters accepted the role as Piccolo because he was a fan of the anime and you can tell he's trying his best. Director James Wong and screenwriter Ben Ramsay both admitted they only did the movie because they were paid A LOT of money and not because they were fans of the anime which upset the anime fans.

Dragonball creator Akira Toriyama was so upset with the movie that it reignited his interest in the Dragonball world again and he would create Battle of the Gods and Dragonball Super.

Back in 2001 Patrick Warburton was perfectly cast in this short lived live action version of The Tick that aired on Fox for 9 episodes.

Bus Station protector The Tick arrives in The City to fight crime. He meets the moth suit wearing mild mannered former accountant Arthur who becomes his sidekick. Each episode follows their misadventures as they deal with C-level villains, paying their rent, petty crime, and superhero bureaucracy.

Ironically not on Canadian Tubi.

St. John's College freshman Luke discovers that hot new girls, Lilly and Constance, are actually cold-needing tentacled aliens who have come to Canada to mate and reproduce. Seducing the male students and freezing their internal organs during sexy times leaving behind their frozen corpses.

Produced and aired by the Space Channel and shot at the University of Ottawa. Starring Space Channel host Kim Poirier as Constance. You may know her best as the girl who got accidentally chainsawed in the 2004 Dawn of the Dead remake.

Clue (1985) A comedic murder mystery based on the board game

Trailer: https://youtu.be/KEXdWfsKZ1k?si=KFQOsQAtwGrB2jiB

6 strangers are invited to a creepy mansion for a dinner party. When the host reveals that he's blackmailing all of them them he's suddenly murdered when the lights go out. The movie turns into a murder mystery as they search the mansion and discover dead bodies, weapons, locked room and hidden passages as they search for clues to who among them is the killer.

There are 3 different endings and back in 1985 movie theaters were given different endings. Depending on where you saw it a different character was the killer. People had to call their local movie theaters to ask which version they were showing. When the movie was released for the home video market it included all 3 endings. According to Tim Curry they filmed a 4th ending where he was the murderer but they decided not to use it because they didn't want the butler to be the killer

Thursday Tubi TV Treasure: Children's Hospital (2010-2016) A parody of medical dramas that aired on Adult Swim

ER intro: https://youtu.be/YrANlcr7Ejc?si=LR\_7r1-A2hRzq-cZ

A group of doctors work at a Children's Hospital in Brazil (despite obviously being shot in LA). With soap opera melodrama they hook up with each other, monologue in the hallways, deal with weird patients with even weirder illnesses, have flashbacks and flashbacks within flashbacks, and characters die and come back without explanation.

A parody of medical dramas making fun of every hospital drama cliche created by Rob Corrdry for Adult Swim. Shot at the same hospital they used for Scrubs.

Most of Stephen King's best and craziest work came during his years of heavy drug use. Cell is what you get with a fully sober Stephen King.

Clay is a graphic designer who is having difficulties with his estranged family. He's at the airport when a signal transmitted through cell phones turns people into raging zombies called Phoners and they begin attacking everybody in sight. Clay and a band of survivors travel through wrecked New England looking for survivors and trying to avoid the telepathic Phoners.
