Maybe it's just me but there's something that feels wrong about Dolph Lundgren being surrounded by children.

When a USB flash drive containg the FBI's witness protection database is hidden inside a kindergarten classroom, no nonsense FBI Agent Reed is sent undercover as a teacher to retrieve it. Reed has to deal with a class of screaming children while searching for the flash drive and prevent other dangerous criminals from finding the drive.

Filmed in 2016 the movie was released straight-to-DVD/streaming and never recieved a theatrical release.

When Dolph was first offered the role he turned it down because he felt uncomfortable stepping into Arnold Schwarzenegger's role. He only accepted the role because Arnold Schwarzenegger was supportive and gave his blessing. Unfortunately Schwarzenegger was "too busy" to film a cameo.

The Commando Elite and the alien Gorgonites are a new line of toys that have been equipped with experimental military AI technology. Like me you probably grew up watching Are You Afraid of the Dark on YTV in Canada during the 90s. This is the show that introduced 4 year old me to horror.

The Midnight Society, Gary, Tucker, Betty Ann, Kiki, Frank, David, and Kirsten would meet in the woods, light a fire, and tell each other scary stories. With each member having their own storytelling styles and signature characters. There were vampires, ghosts, Dr. Vinks, aliens, cursed objects, Sardos, haunted houses, evil clowns, an episode with comedian Bobcat Goldthwait playing the Sandman, and all kinds of supernatural weirdness.

Created by DJ MacHale. A Canadian/US production between CINAR and Nickelodeon and filmed in Montreal for 65 episodes between 1992 and 1996. In 1999 the show would be revived for 2 more seasons and 26 episodes. This time with Tucker being lead storyteller and Gary only returning for a 3 episode guest spot. But Tubi doesn't have those seasons yet. Which is fine since those episodes aren't as good.

Many future Canadian stars would appear. People like Jewel Staite, Ryan Gosling, Elisha Cuthbert, Pre-Scream Neve Campbell, Jay Baruchel, even Hayden Christensen would appear in an episode.

Unfortunately there are a few missing episodes. Tale of the Super Specs, Dark Dragon, Midnight Ride, Dream Girl, Quicksilver, and the Long Ago Locket episodes are not on Tubi for some reason.

The Autobots and the Decepticons are two groups of transforming robots from the planet Cybertron who have been battling for millions of years. Their battles eventually bring them to Earth. Autobots leader Optimus Prime wants to protect Earth and its people while Decepticon leader Megatron wants to destroy Optimus Prime, steal the Earth's energy and use it to conquer Cybertron.

The toys came first. Hasbro worked with a Japanese toy company to develop transforming robot toys. With the help of Marvel Comics to create characters and mythology. So yes the Transformers cartoon was created as a 30 minute commercial to sell Transformers toys. The Autobots have cars, trucks, even dinosaurs. The Decepticons have fighter jets, a tank, construction equipment, a camera, even a cassette recorder.

Even the voice cast is great. Frank Welker played both Megatron and Soundwave. Casey Kasem voiced various Transformers. And Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime. Peter Cullen gave us the heroic and commanding leader who was a cartoon robot designed to sell us toys but he made him iconic.

Written by Marlon and Shawn Wayans and directed by Damon Wayans. 6'1 Marlon Wayans's head was digitally added to the body of a 2'6 9 year old. The kid performed all the physical actions while Marlon did all the facial expressions and dialogue. 3 dozen effects technicians worked on more than 1000 shots for the head and body.

Borat has spent the last 14 years in a Kazakh prison for embarrassing Kazakhstan. Tutar was played by Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova and she is just fantastic. Her ability to stay in character while interacting with people is incredible, especially during that infamously uncomfortable Rudy Giuliani interview. Since Sascha Baron Cohen was now too famous and recognizable as Borat it was Maria who had to take over some situations. Maria was nominated for Best Supporting Actress Award at both the Academy Awards and Golden Globes.

Originally going to be released in theatres but due to the Covid-19 quarantine all movie theaters were closed down so Universal and Sascha decided to sell the streaming rights to Amazon for $80 million.
