Hello y'all. I'm looking at getting into stock class lawnmower racing. What supplies such as safety gear, engine mods, pulley sizes, frame mods, etc am I going to need? I'm going to be using the Murray riding mower that you saw in my last post as I'm very likely going to buy it this weekend
I'm looking at this Murray riding mower for $100 for a racing mower build and I'm wondering what engine it has. Gemini says it could be a Tecumseh Enduro, a Briggs opposed twin, or a single cylinder Briggs Intek. The only clue I have is there is one diode wire, not two.
I'm looking at this Murray riding mower for $100 for a beater racing mower project. It runs and drives fine but it needs a few things
It has a new carburetor
It needs tires
It also needs a headlight as one of them are broken
It could use clear coat or paint as it's faded and dirty
Hello y'all. I'm looking at this Murray riding mower for a racing mower build. It has a 16hp engine, a 6 speed manual gearbox and a 42 inch deck. I am currently having trouble identifying the engine, Gemini said it could be a Briggs Intek single cylinder or a Briggs opposed twin, but some similar mowers I saw with similar specs have a Tecumseh Enduro. The only clue I had was the brass drain plug. If y'all know anything about these mowers, tell me what engine this Murray has
